Why We Like The NEMO Tensor All-Season Sleeping Pad
NEMO expands the Tensor series with the new All-Season Sleeping Pad, bringing ultralight warmth and comfort to every season. The Thermal Mirror metalized film reflects our body heat back to us, keeping the ground from sapping our warmth on frigid winter expeditions. Spaceframe Baffles offer incredible stability, easily distributing our weight across the entire pad to minimize low spots that may be more susceptible to cold. The pad maintains a compact pack size and ultralight weight, so we can pack along a few extra layers or our favorite campsite game every time we hit the trails.

Here's what customers have to say
The sleeping pad is generally considered comfortable, warm, and lightweight, with a convenient inflation system. However, some users have reported issues with durability, such as leaks and holes developing after limited use. A few also found the pad to be somewhat slippery and prone to sliding. While the pad provides a positive sleeping experience overall, there are concerns about its long-term reliability.

Tensor All-Season Pad (Regular, Wide)
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Regular, Wide (25"x72")
The baffling, relatively high R-value, and wide sleeping pad paired very well with my EE 20F Revelation quilt. It helped me sleep quite well, despite the mid-20F overnight lows and rocky ground at 9000 ft. I find it more comfortable than my Thermarest Neoair XTherm NXT (Regular, Wide). It inflates quickly and dumps air quietly in the morning, which was appreciated. It's pricey, but worth it to me because I think good sleep can make or break a backpacking trip. I have multiple pads and this one is my new favorite all-around pad for most backpacking trips.

Very lightweight and comfortable
Really decent sleeping pad! Spent a handful of nights on it so far and it’s awesome! I’d definitely recommend the wide if you have space for it. My only complaint is the fabric feels a tiny bit fragile. No pops yet, but I’m a little nervous.

Light weight, great sleep!
I bought it for sleeping out while fighting wildfires. We get to sleep out in some rugged terrain. And it varies from being in really hot areas to very cold areas, specially once the sun goes down or it's the later season of summer. Easy to inflate, it's comfortable, it's light weight, the insulation keeps me warm. The one thing I would like, if there was an ultra wide option. I am 6ft, 225lbs. And sometimes I rolll around a bit, so having an extra 2inches would be nice. But other than that I give it a 5Star for the long wide pad I got!

Best all around pad on the market
The balance of weight, r value, comfort, and packability make this the best on the market. I work at an outdoor retailer and I see a lot of equipment, this is still my go-to pad.

Tensor all season ultra light
So awesome! My boy friend got this 2 years ago and I’ve wanted one since, as he has no regrets - finally decided to buy, the blowup system is great. Thickness is great for big hips, highly recommend splurging and getting the wide vs mummy shape.

Great all around pad
I chose this pad as my first 25" wide pad, and it is perfect. Good balance of warmth, weight, and features. My dog has already walked on it a ton, as with my other Nemo pads, and no leaks or wear.

Lightweight, efficient and comfortable
I bought this for an upcoming caribou hunt in Alaska in August. I inflated it and layed on it on my living room floor for a couple hours. It seems like it is going to be perfect. Very comfortable and quiet and l love its size and weight.

Incredibly comfortable low cost high r value pad
I haven't tested its durability yet, but on comfort the tensor wins. I may end up making this my warm weather bag too just based on how comfortable the pad is. Pairs awesome with my cold weather bag and warm weather quilt. Very happy with my purchase!

Well-Balanced
I would have purchased regular cut if available, but the mummy shape works fine. Great balance of warmth to weight, I like the pump bag inflation system, and not annoyingly crinkly like the x-therms.

Do you have a question about this product?
February 23, 2022
hello, For the isolated version, on the US site, the R-VALUE is 4.2 while the EU site is 3.5 for the same weight. Is it a mistake ? What is the correct value? Thank you for your answers.

Hi, I had asked how the durability of the new fabric compares to the old, but my question disappeared without being answered. I am asking due to durability issues I experienced with past tensor iterations, but would be interested if this were improved.

Thanks for upping the R-value of the new insulated wide to 4.2! It might eliminate the need for me to carry an additional foam pad in winter. Same ? re: new one: Is the website wrong about the width of the new insulated wide being only 20”?
