I've had three of these and cannot recommend them more for car campers, mountain bikers, climbers, and day hikers. You don't need a battery powered shower or an expensive rig to have a hot shower while you're outdoors, this one does it all. The first Helio Pressure Shower I owned was used all over California - Joshua Tree, Idyllwild, Mojave, Death Valley, Anza Borrego, up and down the coast, and Yosemite. It worked perfectly for camping dishes, hot showers, and bike cleaning. When it started to wear down and developed a small pressure issue, Nemo replaced it no questions asked. This version of the Pressure Shower appears to have addressed the only design flaw I could find in the previous iterations - the cap at the top. The old one was more of a plug, and was often difficult to manage while filling, particularly with hotter water. How do I use it? Heat up some water to the desired temperature, then fill the cylinder to whatever level you need. You will have to leave some space for pressurization but it can hold quite a lot. Pump up the pressure with the foot pedal and start showering. It's that simple. You do have to maintain pressure as you go, but it's easy to do once you get the hang of it. It's not quite the high-pressure flow you would need to spray off caked mud on a bike, though. I would equate it with the typical flow you'd get from a sink sprayer, though it logically depends on how much you pump it up. Collapsing and storing the Pressure Shower is extremely easy as it comes in a convenient round zip-up storage sleeve. Since the foot of the shower is sturdy, it easily fits inside the sleeve with room for the hose to be coiled up inside. I would recommend it for surfers, car campers, mountain bikers, or anyone outdoors in need of a good rinse off at the end of the day.
