Great, Easy & Just What I Needed
Great addition to my pack! Easy to install & easy to use! Drink right at my finger tips at all times! Wish I had got this sooner.

Pouch durability
This works exactly as expected can't say much to the longevity of the pull cord... But it's a Bungie pull cord which are notorious for not being durable. Also there are several reviews on here including a 1 star that explains the pouch falls off. This is untrue and comes from either lack of knowledge of how Molle works or an attempt to hook to an I'm compatible base. Molle doesn't just fall off if properly attached even if the tuck tabs come out (which they shouldn't really have enough slack to do anyways). I wish for two additions to this system one is more colors to make this more viable for military and hunting use, the grey is okay but more earthy colors would be great especially ranger/forest green. The second would be potentially a way to wrap this tight when not in use maybe some vertical Velcro tabs just so if it'snot being used it can be out of the way and also prevent debris from getting in.

Def a disappointment
I bought the bottle pocket to attach to my Scree 33. Only place I can figure to attach it is on the belt loop. Using the "MOLLE" system - either I am doing it completely incorrectly or it simply is a "barely functional", much more challenging than necessary system. The little security loop on the bottle is not a bad idea but the tags on the end of the lines came off on the second day. I finally gave up using the system half way up Kilimanjaro. Will send it back to the company for possible repair. Maybe they can develop a video of how it is supposed to be used - I might just be making a mistake when trying to adapt it to my backpack.

Finally! Easy to reach water bottle location
I got this and put it on the left side of my hip belt, with a forager box on the ruger side. The forager box is a huge easy to open & close (even with gloves on) hip belt storage. And this water bottle keeps a Nalgene bottle right by my hand - no more contorting my arm to try to reach my water bottle or having to take my pack off to put it back.

Simple
Can't speak to longevity yet, but held onto a 32oz Nalgene no issue for an 11 day elk hunt. Used everyday/all day.

It works well with the MOLLE system.
Was skeptical about buying this since I wasn’t sure if it would fit a 48 oz Nalgene bottle. Works perfect and fits well makes taking a drink of water without taking your pack off easy. Another durable and great product from mystery ranch.

So close, yet so far -- Attachment system fails
I own a lot of mystery ranch gear and love it! BUT, very Disappointed in the attachment system in this. I wish it had a similar mole webbing attachment as bear spray or other accessories. It has constantly fallen off, which makes me not want to use it at all. Unless they update the attachment, I would NOT recommend.

What I needed!
I’ve long struggled with finding the right place to put my water bottle when carrying my pack, and finally invested in this bottle pocket. This has allowed me to easily reach my water bottle and keep it close and hands free when I’m not drinking out of it. I use to keep it in my pack side pocket, but no longer have to awkwardly reach back to find it, and can now use the side pocket for additional gear storage. So worth it! I would recommend a lightweight Nalgene for the bottle pocket, as anything heavier could be quite cumbersome.

Perfect for a Nalgene
Bought this for my beartooth 80 and it fits perfectly on the waistband. The bungee that goes around the top of the Nalgene is really nice and makes the bottle feel extra secure.
