The Everyday Carry Bag

Ive gotten around d two years of almost daily use of this bag. I’ve brought it to three countries, hikes a half dozen trails, and been to countless classes with it. It’s still in fantastic condition. As a one or even two day pack, it’s perfect. More than that and you’re really pushing it. My only real gripe is the lower back cushion; it’s kind of weird, and can make adjusting the bag really annoying. All of the straps feel very superfluous as well, they hang around a lot, and the bag fits best when everything is very tight.

Impractical but looks cool.

This pack takes up a lot of space. It is comfortable to wear if adjusted properly. I can't fit much clothes or gear in it considering how big it is. If you put anything in the top pocket it becomes top heavy and falls over even if fully loaded. This makes it complicated to load or if you set it down somewhere it falls flat on its face. The other pockets fill up quickly with chargers, pens, tools, etc.

Hits all the benchmarks

This is the perfect "day" pack, or go bag, or Everyday Carry. I love it! Been using Maxpedition, Osprey, and Camelback; all of which are great brands with great products, but this bag hits all the EDC benchmarks plus some. Highly recommend adding this pack to your arsenal. Quite pricey for an everyday carry pack, I think the price point should be more like 185 for this pack. I feel the name carries a little bit of that price tag too. But all in all, you do get what you pay for. It is high quality, durable, and very versatile.

Awesome pack

After using Mystery rancher packs in the Military, I decided that I wanted to buy one to replace my EDC pack. I watched so many videos online of reviews and found that the Blitz 30 kept coming up as a solid pack, durable, priced right, and offered enough versatility for every day carry. I am so happy with this pack. The fitment is awesome (I am 5’8”) I love the way bag opens and all the pouch’s. This bag has exceeded all of my expectations in a short period of time. The “laptop Garage” pocket is awesome. Works great with my daily lunch bag. I really wish I would have started looking at these bags years ago.

Love this pack

I purchased this pack because my husband has one and I had been using his while working as a ski patroller. His is a size larger, so I finally broke down and purchased my own that fits properly. I also use this pack for day hiking and it is very comfortable. As a note my son keeps taking my husbands pack for hiking and hunting and raves about the comfort and versatility of the same pack.

BRAVO!

I'm in disbelief of how a slightly smaller backpack can carry items more efficiently AND the ability to get to them faster is AWESOME! Quality is apparent in the simple things, such as the sternum strap and the quality of the zippers.... My only slight con would be to include a padded storable hip strap, for occasional times of having heavier gear in a smaller pack. I realize the Blitz 35 has a more padded hip belt, but I don't know if its storable...?

Best bag I’ve ever owned

I’m a Marine Corps veteran, and current Deputy U.S. Marshal, and needless to say I’ve gone through my fair share of bags and packs. This bag is very versatile, lightweight, tactical, and yet surprisingly durable and practical for everyday carry to work. This bag can be used for laptop and gear for everyday office work, or tactical gear for hunting a fugitive in the wilderness for days straight. I highly recommend this pack and am not getting paid to provide this review.

A great school backpack!

All around tough and extremely useful pack for a high school backpack that can also be used on the weekends in the woods. High quality and exactly what you’d expect Mystery Ranch.

Almost perfect

I bought the black model and I've been happy with it. Excellent yoke, great size to the water bottle pockets, ABC set-up is great. Very comfortable pack to wear around town. I have not taken it to the trails yet, but the waist strap is not spectacular, so I expect that I'll need to consider the weight of the pack a bit more carefully than I normally would. I like the size of the pack but I feel it could benefit from an extra inch of width for the sake of getting a 15" laptop in there more comfortably. Mine fits but you definitely notice the difference in width with the pack full. 32 litres would be about perfect for this pack in my opinion. I am just over 6 feet and about 220lbs with fairly wide shoulders. I bought the S/M size, which I am at the upper end of, but the large is too big for me. Full U-shape opening is excellent, makes organization and access easy. I mostly use it as a top hatch opening in day to day use, but when I travel further from home I enjoy the full opening. The zippers are a touch on the stiff side and the grab handle is literally just a piece of webbing, so smoother zippers and a bit of a beefier handle would go a long way for me, but I am knit-picking. Favourite things: Full clam opening, sturdy construction, ABC access, and side opening for laptop (has top access from inside as well). Very comfortable shoulder straps. Possible improvements: Smoother zippers, beefier grab handle, removable padded waist straps, slightly wider profile. My personal preference would be to have the laptop side access completely separate from the main panel opening of the pack as well. A place to tuck away the straps when they are not in use would also be a valuable addition. This bag is exceptional in terms of its ability to cover a wide variety of activities. I like it mostly for EDC around town, but with the right waist straps I see no reason why it couldn't rock the trail as well. And for short hikes the regular webbing probably can manage just fine. Best pack I've owned by a long way, so I am looking forward to putting it through the wringer. As a final note, a lot of reviews dislike the tactical look to the bag, but in the black I don't find it sticks out so badly. I am unlikely to use the molle attachments on the exterior as I think it gets a but chunky-looking once pouches are added, but to each their own I suppose.
