Much improved bindings on MSR!

Just broke trail for 5 miles in new snow. Love them! Great traction and balance. Easy to put on and secure.

Comfortable and fun!

Comfortable, and fun! Straps are sometimes a bit tricky, but not a deal breaker.

Snowshoe strap setting

They come set on the small setting on the front strap. Watch a YouTube video to learn how to convert them to large for larger boots. Once set I love the ease of on/off. Work great, nice and light.

MSR REVO SNOWSHOES

I was looking for new snow shoes with easy bindings. While I’m sure these are great, the bindings on these shoes were hard plastic and just didn’t work for me. I returned them and bought LL Bean winter walkers.

Not thrilled

I just received these- had ordered them in December. I have an old pair of MSRs that are all plastic which I have loved but beat up, and have difficult straps. These have this cool looking binding system so I ordered them without studying the specs. But they have a metal frame which makes them a lot heavier. And LLBean only has the 25 inch which is really too long except in deep soft snow. 22inch is long enough for my part of the world. So these are going back, with a lot of disappointment.

GREAT TRACTION, WITH EASY TO USE BINDINGS

I gaVe these as a gift to my partner. She used them the first time yesterday. Crusty snow, and some patches of granular. The snow shoes handled all perfectly, and the bindings are excellent. Easy to ratchet & only takes seconds. The bindings are a lot easier than the regular MSR strap over bindings. She loved them.

Smart Engineering

The metal teeth on the sides really grip the snow especially going up and down hill. Putting them on or taking them off is not difficult. Having raised rims rather than a second set of crampons in the rear makes them more maneuverable. The plastic bed is very sturdy and seems almost like metal. The design for women allows for easier walking too. I have small bones and a high arch so I wear sturdy hiking boots and thick socks. There is no reason why they would hurt ones feet with proper footwear. Very pleased with them.

Painful Bindings

The traction on these snowshoes is great. They have helped me get up and down some steep, icy slopes. I am giving them a 2 star review because the bindings are very painful. The front binding puts a huge amount of pressure on 2 small spots on the side of the foot, especially going downhill. I wear insulated heavy duty winter hiking boots, I have tried adjusting them to a variety of foot positions and varying levels of tightness, and yet every time I end up with pain, blisters, even bleeding on the outside of my foot/pinky toe.

Easy to use

I received this as a grift for Christmas and wish I would have gotten sooner. Great design and easy to use.

Decent

My only complaint would be the front strap, you are on a learning curve on tightening it so you don't put pressure on your toes.
