Toasty Parka
The parka is very warm and would buy it again. It packs down sorta of small but is not a super technical piece of gear that I would throw in a pack for huge objectives. Overall no complaints does what it is designed to do very well. I love the check pockets

not good
unhappy with this. the hood is too small, the shoulder tops let in a lot of cold air and the double zipper always requires fumbling with them to get it to zip. I bought this because I already own the stretchdown hooded jacket and was pleased with it, but tore it. it had none of these issues.

Started great and warm, ended cold and flat
I got this parka just over a month ago. Had I rated it two weeks in, I probably would have given it a higher rating. It’s warm, fits well (arms maybe slightly on the short side). I’m 6’0 and 215 lbs and got the large based on reviews. It allows some light layering (e.g., sweater and thin fleece) at that size so I think it’s the right size for me. About a week ago I started feeling the cold through the neck and shoulders. When I held the coat up to the light I could see the fill was nearly non-existent. I would expect some shifting/settling over the years, but not over days/weeks. I bought my last winter coat (Arc’teryx Alpha Hoody) in 2015 and was hoping for this to be its replacement. But I don’t have a lot of faith this coat will last much beyond one season. It might just be that this particular coat is a dud and a replacement might work. I guess I’ll have to see.

Great Jacket
This parka is light and warm. Great pockets. I'm 6'2", 180lbs and a Large fits great with room for layering.

Stains Easy
I enjoy the jacket. Its warmth and size are great. However, I have the combat green, and the material shows EVERYTHING. Even in the rain, the water cause color discoloration that remains even after it dries. I wouldn’t recommend this jacket to be worn in any sort of precipitation, or anywhere where it would risk getting stained. I have washed the jacket 3 times now in accordance with the directions inside the coat - and the stains remain and even often get worse.

great great
Quality is great and it meets my expectation. Better than any luxury brand down coat that people over pay. Love the stretch fabric and not too think and heavy but warm enough for the cold winter in NJ/NYC
