This is just what I was hoping it would be! The fabric is lightweight, but not overly thin. The fleece has a smooth, high quality feel to it. Length is perfect for me- not cropped, and not totally covering my whole butt. The fit is loose enough to layer over a sweater and trim enough to layer under a rain jacket. It’s pretty flattering for a fleece. I like the Dark Marsh color, which is dark enough that I think you can wear it like a neutral (without being another boring black jacket). I guess everything I’m describing must sound very basic, but I mean that in a good way! It will be a versatile jacket for me. If you like what you see in the pictures and follow the Mountain Hardwear size chart, I think you’ll be happy with this jacket, too.

I bought this a few weeks ago, and have already used it for layering when it's really cold out, and by itself when a day is warm. Great little jacket for this time of year.

I wanted a lighter weight fleece to wear around the house and as a layer under my down jacket for winter dog walks. This is perfect, and so soft. It's very warm for a lighter weight fleece, good quality, good fit. I'm 5'6", 120 and got the small. Love the Dark Marsh color!

I'm very happy with my Mountain Hardware fleece jacket. I think this is a very good brand. I am 5'4 and 120 lbs. and ordered a small. It fits well. It is warm and it was on sale.

Perfect Color and Quality Fleece Jacket

I love this fleece jacket. The quality and color are both great. It is a nice weight, beefy enough to not feel cheap but not heavy or bulky at all. I would call it a perfect midweight fleece jacket and very versatile. It has quickly become my go to jacket for chilly mornings at home.

I bought this for my daughter for hiking, and she loves it. At 5' 9" and 150 and muscular athletic, it fit her well with room for layering in the medium. The thickness is great for cool weather hiking. The color is beautiful. | She is happy with Santa's choice.

Still looking

I got it for the price. Good price. I wish I could have found one that is both warmer and a more rich black color on their site, but in this style. I need this same thing in a medium thickness version too. Quality is excellent.

Sizing little off (smaller than before)

I bought this fleece for my wife. We’ve been using Mountain Hardware products for years, and she usually wears medium. However, the last two products, including this fleece, have been smaller than usual. Now, she’s a large size (she hasn’t gained weight). This happened to me too. I used to be a men’s medium, but now I’m a large. I guess Mountain Hardware changes their sizing for newer products. The old styles, which are on sale, are the same usual size. So, be aware. I would recommend trying to order two sizes just in case.

I love this fleece! It fits well and is very flattering! The light weight fleece is perfect with Yoga pants.
