Why We Like The Hardwear AP Pant
The Mountain Hardwear Men's Hardwear AP Pant tackles our bike commutes through the city, afternoon bouldering sessions, impromptu post-work nachos with our coworkers, and everything in between. Reflective strips under the cuff increase visibility on twilight bike rides home from the brewery, crag, or office, and we love the roll-up snap closure on the hem that keeps our pants from getting caught in the crankset.

Here's what customers have to say
These pants receive very positive reviews from customers, who describe them as comfortable, versatile, and durable. Many praise the ability to roll up the legs as a useful feature. However, some customers have experienced issues with the fit, noting inconsistent sizing and tight thighs. A few also reported quality problems, such as tearing or ripping during normal use. Overall, the pants seem to be of high quality and suitable for a variety of activities, though the fit may not work for everyone.

Best Outdoor Pants I've Ever Owned
These pants are by far the best outdoor pants I've ever owned. The fabric is rugged but stretchy, and the fit is just phenomenal and spot on. Hope these pants will never go out production!

Love them
Other than the tendency to attract lint these pants are great.

Nice Pants.
Great, tough pants. True to fit, not baggy. The only improvement I'd like is a little bit of stretch but that sacrifices the toughness I know. Great for hiking through brush that pulls at lesser fabrics.

Super Happy to have purchased these!
These are a great fit. Very Comfortable and stylish. I've got some big thighs and they have room but no too much room. Thanks

Wish I could give zero stars , low quality comically small
Not US sized. Inconsistent color.Quality plummeted with buyout. Thin tissue paper material ,worst pants I ever purchased. Not even worth deep discount. Stay away cheapest materials.

Extremely tight in thighs, and they are not elastic in any way. They seem like great pants, but they are NOT made for those with small waists and large quads. You know, like people who are active and hike. They must be made for craft beer enjoyers with stick legs.

Love the pants, but I wish they had a small amount of stretch.
I have been wearing these pants for two days straight since receiving them. I've mostly worn them sitting in my chair at work, but I did go for a bike ride. I love the buttons on the pant legs. I've basically worn them with the ankles rolled up from the second I put them on and I love it. They keep the pants rolled up and keep them high enough to keep the pant leg off the crank when riding a bike. These pants look great in the office or anywhere. I love the fit and the look. My only complaint, which is why I gave it 4-stars instead of 5 is that there is no inherent stretch in these pants. I have a bulbous butt which causes the pants to feel slightly tight in the pelvis area. I assume the pants will stretch out a little as I wear them more, but at the moment, the pants are little tight. Otherwise, the fit is true to size. I typically wear a 38 waist and a 32 in length and these pants are perfect. I typically wear my pants with the cuff resting on the top of my foot and these land exactly on the top of my foot. I love these pants. I will definitely buy more in the future.

Not good got outdoors
Need at least a small level of stretch to make it practical for hiking or climbing. Good for around town but that’s not why I buy mountain hardware

Solid pants!
Great pair of pants. Very durable and dirt is easy to get off. They don’t stay looking dirty. Gonna get another pair

Superb field working pants with a excellent cut.
I live in the polychrome of these well fitting and super designed pants for my work as an expert leader for National Geographic and Smithsonian. The tapered cut, the light to medium textile, the zippered back pockets and the well sewn pants are incredibly comfortable and "field" stylish. Many of my travelers and students ask about these pants and I give them my highest recommendation.
