Here's what customers have to say

The pants are generally well-liked for their comfort and versatility, with the lightweight, stretchy fabric and zippered pockets being praised. These pants are ALMOST PERFECT!

OK, I've bought so many hiking pants over the years, always trying to find the *perfect* pant for me. These come pretty dang close. I wore them to summit Mt. Whitney this summer and to backpack in the Enchantments, in addition to lots of other day hikes. Here's why I love them: the stretch is good, the high waistband is so comfy and flattering, and the POCKETS are perfect!! Drop in with zipper is so much better than the angled, non-zippered ones on the regular dynama pant. Pockets can hold my iPhone 17 pro sideways - so that's great! And the fabric is so good at wicking sweat and is very breathable. Why they're not perfect: The length is just a little too short and I'm 5'4". I get that this is supposed to be an ankle pant, but I mainly bought it for the high stretchy waistband + pockets vs. the regular dynama and I'm making do with the length. This isn't a huge issue for me but I do wish they came down to my shoe tops. The stretch is REALLY stretchy. Like after a day of backpacking my pants are falling down - they need to be washed to regain shape, which makes them not great for trips longer than a night. I wish there was a tie in the waistband to help keep them up. If I could get the perfect blend of this pant with the regular dynama pant I'd be the happiest customer and buy it in every color - stretchy high waist like this but with an adjuster tie (NO zipper/button) to mitigate the stretchiness, drop-in zippered side pockets like these (keep them exactly the same), and another longer inseam option (30" maybe?).

Good for right body type.

Higher waist than Ankle style is too big around for my body type.

My go to pant...

Lightweight and breathable but ok for crisp days if active. I love these pants so much that this is my 7th pair ( new color). These are nice and roomy in the thighs and calves, which is often an issue for me. They have a comfortably fitted upper hip and waist- quite flattering. I guess I'm somewhat obsessed with them- just keep buying every color!

Love the fit and feel

These are so unbelievably comfy but not as breathable as I would’ve liked. They’re good for fall temps but humidity traps too much heat.

Great pants, smooth front

I am 5'2" and on me these are not ankle pants but they fit great as full-length pants, which is really what I prefer. I really like the flat front look of the front zipper pockets.

Excellent fit.

I bought two pairs last year. Love the fit. Great for traveling - hiking/climbing then dress them up for a nicer dinner. They wear out a little fast but I am not easy on my gear :)

High-rise feels too high, medium is too large

Had to return. I hadn't realized I ordered a high waisted fit, I thought it meant longer fit instead of a Capri. I dont mind high rise but these were too high for me, and im 5'10" The reason im giving a 3 star is that over the 5 years of buying the dynama pants, the medium size is getting larger and stretchier, making me need to downsize to a small in order for a proper medium fit. It runs large, but only stretches out to get larger through wear, and although I know to start ordering down a size, it doesnt seem fair that the sizing is wildy different from other medium brands. The dynama pants are amazing, but size down or try them on in a store if possible.

Same comfy active pants with slightly different fit

I love these pants. So I went to purchase more as my old pairs were wearing out. These new pairs are good, but a slightly different fit and cut. Still like them, but like the older ones better.
