Why We Like The Merrell Antora 3 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot
New for 2023, Merrell has released its most popular women's trail running shoe as a lightweight hiking boot, the Antora 3 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot. The Antora features a women-specific fit and a light-duty design that straddles the boundaries between a hiking boot and everyday sneaker for comfort and trail-to-town versatility. The waterproof membrane keeps our feet drier while the Vibram outsoles deliver traction that's designed for everyday wear. Its sneaker-like look and feel give us an alternative to traditional hiking boots for our go-to hiking trails, our daily dog walk, and our urban hikes.

Not what I expected...
These shoes wore out so fast. The waterproofing only lasted a month or two before the seal broke on them and it wasn't long before holes formed in the mesh on each side. The fit itself was tight and I never really felt like they got "broke in". I purchased the pink ones and the color in person is way more neon than I expected. I really wanted to like these shoes, but unfortunately I would not purchase them again.

Too soft & squishy; fit small
I was disappointed in these and returned them. I found them to be too soft and squishy underfoot, which to me made them feel less stable and balanced. I also found to fit smaller than expected. They might be fine for you if you like a soft feel underfoot, but I need footwear that feels more solid and secure.

Life saver
Thirty years ago I suffered a severe mid foot crush fracture which is now arthritic combined with areas of non-union. I have worn Morrell Moab 3’s for many years with orthotics and had the best support possible, but the antora has given me amazing pain free ambulation while walking our rural property and roads, as well as while shopping and walking the dogs. The shoes are lighter weight, still offer excellent support especially mid-foot, with quicker and easier breakover which makes an enormous difference to my gait and comfort. Very durable and true to size. Definitely reccomend!

Awesome funky shoes!
I’m a FedEx driver, and these are the best shoes! High top comfort and traction for days. These are easy to run in and honestly make me Run better than I would in other shoes 🤣 10 out of 10! Love the funky colors, makes them even better. I love Merrells and find them to be the best hiking /trail running shoe on the market

Great shoe!
Excellent shoe. Having the higher top in comparison to a regular hiking shoe is great. My foot slides around so much less, thud reducing friction and making my hikes more enjoyable overall.

Great colors and Great fit!
These are great! Better than I expected. I have several pairs of Merrell's, yet this is my first pair of high tops. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them and didn't even need a break in time. They have a nice roomy toe box, and fit well on my narrow feet. Haven't taken them out on the trails yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Nice color combination too.

Good pair of light hiking shoes
Fits true to size with a decent toe box. If you have bunions they might be too narrow. The lichen color is beautiful and I love the mid-ankle height. They are relatively light and comfortable though the insoles could be more cushiony and supportive. So far they have been waterproof during some snowy hikes, but it’s not like I was stepping in big puddles. The vibram outsoles are grippy, but I still had to be careful on some slippery wet rocks. Overall it’s a solid shoe.
