Not grippy, not durable
My first pair of Mammuts and not impressed. I wore these on 2 hikes and an 8-day walking tour and they're already falling apart. The soles don't seem to be very grippy at all as I had a few close call slips that I wouldn't have normally slipped using my other branded shoes.

I bought these boots as an in-between pair for walking and hiking. They have been great for both short and long hikes. The only thing that hasn't been great is the foam sections on the shoes. A chunk of it on the heel got scraped off, probably by a rock. The foamy sections on the sole make it easier to feel rough terrain as well. Super impressed by them in terms of keeping your feet dry and I love how light weight they are.

My first experience using these boots was positive. I decided to break them in with a 7km hike up a mountain. The style, grip, waterproofing, and general fit of the boots was great. I would recommend others buy a comfort insole and wear thick, high socks while wearing these on any sort of moderate trail, as I can see blisters being an issue otherwise.

I like these shoes for the extra support at the ankle. I wear them while walking my dog. I bought the seafoam color and it is quite pleasing.
