Great vents, easy zipper-pulls, hood fits well over helmet. Instead of regular hand pockets, this jacket's extra large chest pockets keeps storage from impacting harness use.

Keeps you dry and still able to breathe

This jacket stood up to a few powder days keeping my mid and base layers nice and dry throughout the day. It held up well going through trees and during a few somersaults that are frequent from me. While on tours it is light enough to keep on during chillier days on the skin up, but packs down small enough to through into your pack without much issue. The hood is a great size for fitting over a helmet as well. All in all, would recommend this shell.

Perfect shell to be worn alone in more mild temps or over a base layer on colder days on the slopes. Great waterproof and windbreaker material.

Great light weight jacket!

Great light shell, as others have mentioned could use another pocket or two but overall pleased with the product. I’m 5’10 180lb’s, after reading reviews I went with a size medium, good fit with enough room for mid-layer if needed. If you plan on wearing a puffer underneath I would definitely go for the large.

Great Jacket, been wearing it snowboarding a couple dozen times this year. The left side zipper has taken a while to get used to though.

Mammut Haldigrat air HS hooded jacket

I absolutely love this shell it is super versatile and has a good fit for my style. It super easy and comfortable to layer multiple layers underneath. The haldigrat has plenty of pockets and capability for anything you would need it for. I was previously ridding a Burton AK insulated coat and I’m glad I switched to this.

I like the weight, fit, pockets and zippers on this jacket. What I don’t like is how quickly the cuffs are wearing. They are fraying after only about 5 days on the mountain. I wear Swix and Hestra gloves which shouldn’t matter. I had a Mountain Hardwear shell for over 20 years. Maybe the lighter materials sacrifice durability…maybe a tougher material on the cuff would improve durability in that wear spot. I like the jacket, I just don’t see it lasting as long as my old one.

Great jacket!

If this jacket had hand pockets, I would give it a 10.

Great jacket

The little I needed this jacket on my last trip was well worth it. Kept me dry, and the ventilation was great. Fits well. I got a medium and it fits well over my base layers and gives plenty of unrestricted moment still.
