A nice feeling chalk

Sometimes, chalk is chalk. That being said, coming from using some Metolius block chalk prior to this, I definitely prefer this mammut chalk. The old block chalk felt like it didn't really get onto my hands very easily and I found myself needing to spend quite some time dipping my hands in my bag to fight off my sweaty tips. This Mammut chalk just goes on easily and I feel like I am spending less time chalking up which hopefully means using less chalk overall. It also happens to be cheaper per gram than the block chalk so for me, it's a no brainer.

Best chalk for the Best value

I have super sweaty hands and this chalk is perfect for the job. i also don’t like the ultra fine stuff and this stuff is amazing.

It’s chalk

I haven’t used any other chalk, so not sure how this compares but seems to do what chalk is supposed to do.

Best Affordable Chalk

By far the best affordable climbing chalk. The only thing comparable in terms of quality and price is maybe BD Chalk but I think Mammut’s is for sure a bit better. The quality isn’t quite as good as ultra premium chalks like Friction Labs but you’re paying less than half for a product that is maybe 2-5% worse at most.

The chalk works as beautifully as one would expect. Dry hands equals success!

Keeps the hands dry and adds confidence to send projects

The only chalk that actually stays on without taking out skin from you fingers. The chalk pretty much covers your whole hand with a small dab.

My go to chalk

This stuff is great. I prefer chunk chalk and that is what this is. I use this for rock climbing and it is great.

Great Chalk

Great chalk, has large chunks as well as some powder. Sticks well to the hands and doesn't give that caked on powdered sugar feeling like other brands.

Great chalk

It's chalk and it does the job. I put an 8 as a recommandation simply because I tend to prefer finer chalk. I will without a doubt recommend the finer Mammut chalk but simply because I prefer it so. Suitable for anyone who climbs.

works great, i use it bouldering and lead climbing
