Why We Like The Lib Technologies T.Rice Orca Snowboard

The ultimate powder day weapon, Lib Tech's T.Rice Orca Snowboard mows through untouched stashes with float, power, and finesse. Sporting a wide waist, directional shape, and setback stance, this board helps us float effortlessly in the deepest, lightest snow, while the seemingly short length is made up for in width for a volume-shifted design that always keeps us in the driver seat. The result is all the float of a much longer board, only in a shorter, more maneuverable package that rips through tight trees and offers a surfy feel when linking pow slashes down open bowls. The dynamic triax/biax with basalt alloy laminates provide an impressively smooth yet explosive feel underfoot everywhere from chop to slop, while the lightweight and powerful aspen and paulownia wood core keeps us light on our feet.

Love it, worth the hype!

I read so many reviews on so many boards and ultimately decided the Orca sounded like the perfect board for me. And it totally lives up to all the hype. I love it so much. I've been riding for 25 years and this board tears through everything easier than any board I've ridden before. I feel super stable and times when I think I'm going to catch an edge, I don't, the board saves me! My previous board was a 152 Gnu B-Pro, I sized down to a 147 for the Orca and it's just right.
