Here's what customers have to say

The sleeping pad provides exceptional comfort and support, with a combination of air chambers and thick foam topping that feels like a real mattress, especially for side sleepers. It is described as very durable and able to withstand rough use, making it ideal for car camping and short backpacking trips. However, some users find it too bulky and heavy for longer backpacking excursions, and report difficulties fully inflating the pad and closing the valve cover properly, which can lead to slow air leaks.

Best nights of sleep on a BDR

The best motorcycle camping mattress I've found to date. I used it on a two week trip traversing the Washington and Oregon BDRs last summer. It's comfy!!!

Love this sleeping pad!

Very comfortable, easy to inflate/deflate, great insulation and love the soft surface, prevents slipping off the pad in the middle of the night.

This is a very comfortable sleeping pad and it is fairly compact. I probably wouldn’t take it backpacking but it is great for car camping.

lightweight, rolls up easily and surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. Just be sure to have a pillow handy. Also, easy to inflate and deflate.

Nice Sleeping Pad

We squish it in the bed of our truck, fits in-between the fenders. The layer of foam makes it very comfortable. It's easy to set up. all around happy with this product.

I purchased these for my kids, and I have the xtra large pad. We put them to the test this year in the Rockies and west coast, and what a difference it makes when you're camping. My 6 year old can even blow one up himself and re pack it, and even my "pre teen" daughter gave it a 👍 for comfort. I'm 6'4 and 245, the x large mat was very roomy and comfortable. It is definitely a must have to make camping just a little more comfortable.

Valve is weak

First couple of uses with this pad were great and comfortable. After a little while, the valve to keep the air in started leaking. Plus, it's pretty bulky/big. Best for car camping/campgrounds.

Not impressed

used twice now. both times air slowly let out and was flat before the next morning. pad feels great when air is just put in. could be a really comfortable sleeping pad. I noticed the bright green rubber seal in the valve to inflate and delfate has fallen out on the second use. has to be somewhere inside the pad now. could be a faulty piece or design which is why it never held air to begin with. checked for leaks after the first use and could not fine any. only place was at the valve and it was obvious as you could hear the air escaping. Will be trying another brand for sleeping pads from here on out. other klymit products have given me no problems.

Faulty valve

First one leaked. Faulty valve. Klymit replaced it under warranty. Second one leaked just the same. The valve design they use sucks and needs to be changed.

Pretty comfortable pad but too bulky to backpack. Good for a basecamp.
