Great snap together set- caution don’t loan out.. you’ll never see them again.
Great easy to carry utensil set perfect for meal time. Easy to clean, easy to find in your gear, just don’t loan out to friends they have a way of walking off and never returning.. must be a good reason for that.

Backpacking Utensils
Light weight and sturdy, great for a backpacking trip. It allows you to pick and choose what you take and extends.

Flimsy Design
Extremely flimsy design. There is zero “backbone” to these utensils. They bend and flex way too easily. Secondly the snaps aren’t built for long term use. They are cheap and they will fail. Lastly there needs to be some kind of containment/storage bag for them. I wanted to love them but the honest truth is that overall these utensils are a swing and a miss. There are far better options on the market.

simple piece of kit
simple and easy to use, I primarily use these when I am eating out of "MRE" like packages where a long fork or spoon is easier to use due to the depth of the bag. Lightweight and they connect together so you wont lose them. Maybe grab an addition pair for a friend.

Exceeded my expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flatware is perfect for everyday lunch use or take on the trail b/c it’s so light weight. I was skeptical @ first with the fork being able to stab any food but it has held up to some salads & chicken. I guess the real test will be some steak.

Really?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no idea how this even got approved. You can get a stiffer fork/spoon/knife for free at Chipolte. I assume an intern was given this project and the entire thing was greenlit without supervision. The stoves are great, but whoever designed and approved these should be fired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and packs up in very little space. Perfect set to take out climbing or on the trail.

Worth adding to your gear
Inexpensive add on to your supply. Extension positions hold well. Stack holds together by the detent at the end of the handle. More squeeze together, don't really click together. Still no issue with the stack staying in one piece yet. serrations on knife work well, probably going to stick with another knife I already carry, just personal preference. Nothing wrong with this one though. Spoon is rubber edged and works well as a spatula to get clean swipes of all the last little bits an pieces.
