Backpacking? Car Camping? Yes!
This is a no brainer for those looking to simplify their camping/backpacking 'kitchen'. It is kind of a one trick pony in the sense that's it's really just for boiling water, but with som many freeze dried options on the market this is a great choice. There are multiple sizes of fuel canisters available so I just get the appropriately sized canister for what I'm doing.

Must have for any outdoor event.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid coffee drinker, having boiling water in 2 minutes is amazing! Durable, compact and lightweight, this fits the camping/drive-in movie bill to a tee!. Highly recommend, especially with the newer version of the knob.

Nice improvements
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using a friends mini mo on backpacking trips for years and always been pleased with the performance and reliability. I finally broke down and bought my own and this Flash has a few nice improvements over the other model. First the starter being integrated into the gas regulator dial is really nice. I like the ergonomics of the dial itself compared to the one on the old mini mo. So far it lights on the first try every time. The other thing I like is the new rubber gripper around the base which just make handling everything more secure, especially when the unit is hot. My only criticism of jet boils in general is that they are kind of bulky and heavy if you are an ounce counter. They make lighter models but you have to give up features such as the auto ignition and wind screen. So ultimately it's a trade-off decision that each person needs to make. In my experience I really want both of those features for back country convenience and performance so I'm willing to accept the extra ounces. There are smaller and lighter stoves on the market but they are way less efficient which means carrying more gas in the long run. Plus it's no fun waiting for water to boil at the end of a day on the trail when you are hungry. Nothing boils faster than a jet boil.

This thing rocks!
Super convenient for coffee in the mornings. Nice for making Raman in the field. Boils ridiculously quickly, so no need to wait around. Flame blows out easier than the MSR windburner, and I accidentally boiled it over and put the flame out that way. The coffee press is kinda crappy, but overall, I am very content with the product. I would recommend it to anyone looking to improve their field experience.

Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I made this upgrade to my old jetboil. I didn't realize how much they've improved in just a few years! Way better without the hose going to the fuel, and easier to use. This thing is awesome, and looks cool too.

The Jetboil itself is awesome and the perfect size. However, the bottom measuring cup is too loose.
Bottom cup is too loose

Worked well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as a birthday gift for my son just before he and his brother hiked Mt. Rainier. After reading reviews about convenience, reliability, and types of starters, this sounded like the best overall choice. Post-hike feedback: it heated well, the sleeve made it easy to hold, and it cooled down quickly to pack away.
