GODSEND when camping with kids!
DO YOU need offgrid coffee available in 5 minutes or less? This is your product. The water boils in less than 2 minutes, then the French press steeps for 3 minutes, press the plunger down and you have 2 delicious cups of coffee. This packs sooo small and light! Even if we weren't offgrid I'd still use this as my camping coffee solution. I am a little confused how the conventional jetboil cooking attachments work with this setup but I'm sure it's easy enough to figure out. VERY happy with this purchase.

Super quick and easy!
Ease of use and speed while on a week long motor camping trip. No issues even in the rain. Igniter lit it every time and the coffee press was a great addition. Glad I made the choice I did in purchasing this!

Extremely easy to use, very stable with the included base, and boils water for my coffee in no time flat. The included press makes brewing my coffee a snap and I can get away from the coffee singles that make flavorless brown water.

Satisfied customer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an old school camper I’ve always used a percolator to make my coffee. It wasn’t the best but it did the job. Wanting to step my game I found the Jetboil Java kit. After researching it for a while I decided to pull the trigger. What a game changer. This is my first Jetboil product and I’m very pleased with it. Within a couple minutes I have a hot cup of coffee with no grounds floating around. It packs away nice and neat so it takes up minimal space. Definitely worth it.

Industry Standard
boils a liter in about 3 mins It is the best method to boil water quickly if you are just making a meal or making coffee. I use it for my backpacking adventures and even camping with the family. the new model is great because the flame dial (or whatever its called) it a great improvement over the previous generation. Will continue to use the product for years to come.

Poor design
I bought this but it’s not well designed. The base of the burner is a polycarbonate plastic. The burner ONLY fits the jetboil pot and you cannot use it to heat anything else - so no cooking pasta or rice or anything else in another pot. You need to take a second burner into the mountains to do this. There is no air vent in the design to allow heat to release if you use anything other than the jetboil pot. The plastic base of the burner melted and now it does not slide into the pot. It’s rather stupid to have a system that can only be used for one purpose - boiling water. It should be multipurpose if you carrying all your own kit on your back deep into the wild. I should not have to pack a second burner. I feel it would be easy to adapt the design to allow this and I would not make a burner from polycarb. It should all be a lightweight metal alloy
