Trail Midweight Mini-Crew Sock enhances trail comfort with moisture control and cushioning
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"These are my favorite socks for trail running—the toe sleeves stop blisters completely, and the midweight cushioning takes the edge off rocky terrain. The CoolMax fabric keeps my feet dry even during long, hot runs, and they stay perfectly in place thanks to the snug cuff."
When the trail gets technical, we depend on the Injinji Trail Midweight Mini-Crew CoolMax XtraLife Sock to keep our feet comfortable, dry, and blister-free. Built with individual toe sleeves, this sock promotes natural toe alignment and movement for better balance and reduced friction over long distances.
The CoolMax XtraLife fabric wicks sweat efficiently to maintain cool, dry comfort through steep climbs and descents, while cushioned knit panels in the heel and sole absorb shock from rugged terrain. A breathable mesh top boosts ventilation, and the double cuff holds the sock securely in place to keep out dirt and debris. Whether it’s race day or a long training run, these socks deliver the perfect blend of comfort, support, and durability for off-road running.

Good socks, hard for seniors to put on
Really comfortable, and no problems with blisters or anything like that. Only problem I have is getting them on and off my feet. I am 68 years old, and my toes are not very flexible, so a bit of a process to get each toe in its proper place

Was hoping to keep my toes separated
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I bought two pair to try and see if it would help keep my toes from rubbing blisters while jogging. I only tried one pair and they didn‘t help. I turned one inside out and was surprised to see 1/2“ threads left where each toe was sewn to the base. When I returned I ended up with a partial credit for one pair and after deducting shipping, I ended up with a $5.89 refund for a $27 purchase. Will not do business with Backcountry again

Absolute comfort

I bought these foot gloves to try beings I’ve never worn anything like it before. They are the most comfortable socks ever. Everyone should try them out at least once. Injinji is the brand with the best quality. I recently bought some other cheaper brand. They don’t compete.

I hiked the AT in Darn Toughs. Started the PCT in them and due to shoe change was murder. Lost 2 toenails and was the worst my feet have ever been. Switched to Injinji midweight, haven't had a blister since. Over 10K trail thru hike miles. PCT,CDT, AZT and 11 other long distance trails. I think the key is they have a low friction give in the fabric and solve any between toe issues. They last forever. Way longer than DT. I now only wear Injinji even at work. They are perfect and one of the pieces of gear I use that I wont ever have to change unless they change. Zero complaints. 2 pair lasted me the entire CDT if that says anything and I probably still have those pair in my sock drawer. I tried the merino wool ones and they didn't last on a thru hike. I cant recommend that version. I wear a size 10 Lone peak with toes about 1 inch shy of toe box end and wear size large Injinji's. The only Con is they can be a chore to put on when wet but nothing major.

The past few years when I have gone on some long hikes in the Grand Canyon and I have been getting blisters between my big toe and my second due to the rubbing. I just did R2R in the Grand Canyon and not a single blister or hot spot. My feet felt great and I?m ready for more hikes.
