Wool underwear is the only way

Ive tried a lot of the performance/hiking underwear on the market and wool is hands down superior. I love these Icebreakers. I have 7 pairs now and its the only thing I wear backpacking or hiking now. Love them

Not the most comfortable

Not the softest merino out there but not bad otherwise.

Underwear are comfortable and great for all day use. I’ve used them for daily wear, hiking and some climbing. Will be in the rotation for winter use too. I found the waistband to be comfortable and non-restrictive. They did ride up a little bit so I may find a slightly longer pair next time.

Don’t hold up.

This was my first time using merino wool underwear. I was excited my the idea of wool underwear because I’ve been wearing wool socks for some time and love everything about them. The underwear was nice to start with but after about two months you began to see the thinning of the wool and after 3 more months I had gotten a hole in a pair I bought. They do what they advertise but just don’t seem to hold up. They are worth it for the price we pay but I don’t think I would recommend for someone who would be paying full price.

Fit and feel of the undies are both stellar. at this price its difficult to beat the merino wool.

A solution to smelly cotton!

I love my Icebreaker boxer briefs! I try to only wear these, as they hold moisture and don't smell. They are comfy, and look great. I have worn these everywhere now, and am thouroughly impressed. From wearing them under my undregarments in my drysuit while diving, to camps along the river as we make our way down some multi day trips, and even on a summit of Rainier, these have performed exceptionally well.

Feels great, but didn't last

I got these for motorcycle riding to try to eliminate swamp butt. They certainly do, but after a few motorcycle trips and laundry cycles they started to tear at the seams. I don't think I'd buy again due to this durability issue. Maybe they'd do better in a less demanding role instead of sitting on a motorcycle seat all day. Now they are used as backup underwear.

Excellent for travel!

Traveled to three continents in the past 12 months and learned to travel light. In particular, with merino wool clothing that require less washing; seems odd… but anyone who travels with merino wool clothing in various weather, will completely understand the antifungal, anti-stink, temperature adapting qualities of the clothing. Icebreaker boxers WITH FLY (really important) are a go to for travel and everyday wear. Fit from size chart is on point, I hesitate to put in dryer, so I air dry. Fabric holds up great.
