Polar Surge Ascent 24oz Water Bottle keeps hydration cool and efficient with leakproof performance
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I'm always impressed with how cold this bottle keeps my water—even on long summer rides. The squeeze is super easy, and the cap doesn’t leak or require fuss. It’s my go-to bottle whether I’m climbing pavement or rolling dirt."
We don’t hit the trail or road without a Polar Surge Ascent 24oz Water Bottle tucked in our bottle cage. It’s that sweet spot of capacity, chill retention, and ergonomic design that delivers mid-ride hydration exactly how we need it—fast, cold, and never messy.
Crafted for smooth, high-flow sips, the Surge™ cap opens with pressure and seals on its own to prevent leaks while riding. The Tri-Layer™ insulation keeps water cooler for hours, and the slim profile means a secure fit in nearly any bike frame. When it’s time to clean, the cap disassembles easily so we can rinse, dry, and get back to rolling.

Decent Looking Bottle, But...
Bottles look good, but are too stif to drink from on the bike easily and the spout does not flow enough.

Much lower quality than the old polar bottles
The new bottles are very stiff and hard to squeeze. The new lids leak. HydraPak took a great product and made it much worse. Will never buy again.

Not great
This bottle functions well to keep liquids cold. However, the spout actually does not flow that easy and the bottle is very hard to squeeze - even with two hands. If I’m really needing a drink, I have to stop and unscrew the lid to get one. I would not buy again.

Disappointed.
Did not like the stiffness of bottle and spout. Would not buy again. It does keep water cooler for a reasonable length of time in summer.

Excellent
lol the new style top. Works amazing for biking, took a little messing with to figure out how to clean, but once you figure it out it’s very simple.

Awesome thermal insulation
I am super pleased with this bottle. The insulation keeps my water cold on long hot rides in the hot south of Atlanta. It is just what I need when I am trying to push the limits and get my miles in.

Love this bottle
These are the best bottles on the market. They are way easier to handle and more durable than a camelbak podium, way easier to clean, and the dust cap they sell is much easier to use while riding.

Awesome bottle but slippery
Love the Hydrapak/Polar bottles, best in the game. I like to use the insulated bottles in the cold weather but with gloves on they are a little slippery and can be challenging to get liquid out. I took some sandpaper to them and it helped a bunch!

NoThanks
Too hard, & low flow. Also popped out of my cage several times.
