Contour 1.5L Lumbar Water Reservoir keeps hydration stable and accessible on the move
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I always reach for the Contour 1.5L Lumbar Water Reservoir when I need compact hydration without sacrificing performance. It fits easily in most hip and lumbar packs, and the Shape-Loc baffles really do keep the water from sloshing around on rough descents. The Comet™ bite valve is intuitive to use and leakproof, and the quick-disconnect makes refills way easier than older systems."
When you’re packing light and pedaling hard, the Contour 1.5L Lumbar Water Reservoir delivers hydration without the bulk. Built specifically for lumbar and hip packs, it’s designed with a slim, low-profile shape and baffle-stabilized construction to eliminate slosh and bounce on rowdy singletrack. From its easy-to-use Plug-N-Play™ connection system to the self-sealing Comet™ bite valve with magnetic hose clip, every feature is dialed for convenience and performance. Whether you're chasing KOMs or just chasing daylight, this reservoir helps keep the flow going.

Plasticky taste after all these years
Why Hydrapak why? Your products are in everything, from Osprey packs to Revelate-branded frame bag hydration bladders (which is the reason for this review). You are clearly the market leader and can't be avoided. With so many reviews over the years about the awful plasticky/vinyl taste when new, you still expect us to have to work to remove that flavor by freezing a vinegar/lemon solution inside the bladder (which doesn't work) or whatever else reddit users have tried. Platypus and other bladders don't have this issue. For the love of the sport and probably our health - please, please fix this! Just look at the threads online - the masses cry out! :)

Good product but ...
Well built, but how are you meant to dry the inside? I'm told that we should dry these things after every use, but the manufacturer either doesn't agree with that or overlooked it in the design, unless I'm missing something.

Bad taste
Cannot stand the plastic taste from the bladder. I am going to try the lemon juice and baking soda trick that is online and hope it gets better.

Just what I wanted
Just what I wanted to put in a particular small pack, without making it off balance. This works really well and seems very well made.
