Why We Like The Gregory Maya 20L Daypack
The Maya 20L Daypack is essential for longer hikes where easy access to water, extra layers, and snacks is essential. Gregory's hike-focused tech keeps us comfortable while we're on the move: the flexible BioSync suspension matches our body movements to decrease hot spots, and the contoured back panel features channels that enhance airflow to keep us cool and dry. This pack features a dedicated pocket for a hydration sleeve, leaving plenty of space in the main compartment for a rain jacket, a camera, and a light lunch.

Comfortable and sturdy
Comfortable and sturdy. Exterior pockets are easy to use and interior compartments secure. Love the red color, too. Easily adjustable for height and girth. Great size for a longer days hiking.

Maya20
So far I love my Maya20! I have had it almost 2 months and so far I have taken it to hike Mt LeConte in the Smokey Mtns and completed my first 20 mile Mammoth March with it! I love the compartments at my waist and the pack is very comfortable. I’m pretty happy with my purchase

Very comfortable and vibrant fun colors
Huge upgrade to the Ozark Trail water pack I was carrying. Probably carrying twice the weight and still 100 times more comfortable. Plenty of pockets and zippered pouches for needed storage/organization. Back of pack breathes well against your back and isn’t suffocating. Pack hugs you like a glove and is very comfortable. Thus the pack doesn’t shift much when rock scrambling up or down with different angles. Would love to see fun colored packs and accessories for women without being attached to a cause.

Adjustable enough to fit XS/S frame
I probably looked at 40 different packs and load-tested at least 12 of those before landing on this gem. With my very short torso, it’s hard to me to find an “all-sizes” adjustable pack that fits both my body and my needs. This pack will carry beautifully on my upcoming Camino de Santiago trek and as my year-round day hike pack. The colors are great. The water bottle pockets are generous, the straps are comfortable, and there aren’t a bunch of unnecessary features. I love that the hydration bladder carries in a separate pouch from your gear. Like others have said, the brain pocket is a little on the small side, but everything else is just right. If not overpacked, It will even work as a “personal item” for most airlines. I also tried the Maya 25, which is an equally great pack, but I just didn’t need that much space

Most Comfortable backpack
I love my Maya 20. I used it as daypack for walking the Camino de Santiago. It was very comfortable. The only issue was the small carry handle at the top of the pack broke shortly after I purchased it.

Good upgrade
I upgraded my backpack from Osprey daylite to Gregory Maya 20. This backpack fits well with my height (5'2"). The back panel fits well with my back, and the weight in the backpack does not dangle at the bottom. There are plenty of pockets and 1 key clip. The water bottle sits in the side pockets deep enough not to slip from it when you bend over to tie shoe laces or etc. 2 small caveats: the waist pockets are made relatively small and I can barely store my cell phone in it. The second caveat is that the chest strap band is made relatively short (even when you extend it) and you may not be able to secure the shoulder harness with it if you have a bigger chest or wear a thicker jacket.

Lots of pockets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased it leas than a month ago. Love it but the only downside is that when I tighten to fit it on my chest the straps are rubbing on my neck!

The Gregory site shows that the hip/waist measurement for the Maya 20 (Gregory x Unlikely Hikers) pack is 27-45"; however, REI has this measurement at 41-60". Which is correct?
