Why We Like The GRAYL UltraPress Titanium Filter & Purifier Bottle
The GRAYL UltraPress Titanium Filter & Purifier Bottle provides unparalleled strength for the weight while both filtering and purifying water when we're hiking, camping, or traveling internationally. The UltraPress filter gives us half a liter of clean water in only ten seconds while removing almost all waterborne pathogens—including viruses (e.g. Rotavirus, SARS, Hepatitis A, Norovirus), bacteria (e.g. E. coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Dysentery) and Protozoa (e.g. Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Amoebae), pesticides, herbicides, PFAS, microplastics, and heavy metals—making it appropriate for travel on all continents. The titanium construction also stands out for its outstanding durability, and the Outer Ti Cup also doubles as a cooking pot because we can place it directly on our camp stove or over a fire. The one-way silicone valve also allows us to add electrolytes or drink mixes to our water for more versatile hydration for our hikes and travels.

Just too small
I use my grayls on almost daily basis. In my work I have access to water all day, but it’s not clean. I filter and drink it with my grayl. The 16. 9 is just too small. I also hike quite often and map out where water is so I can make stops and drink. I will only carry my larger grayls for this.

Best Hunting Bottle on market
Doing a lot of backcountry hunting; carrying water is the worst. Using the geopress titanium eliminates the need to carry a lot of water, carry an extra cup for boiling water, and an additional means to filter. This bottle opens up a lot of possibilities in weight elimination and extra items to pack. Ideally, you want to go in light and come out heavy with meat, and every ounce counts. Great product!

Most versatile water purifier on the market
I own most water purification systems on the market. The Grayl is my latest purchase and is now my go to. I backpack in the north Ga, NC, TN mountains where water sources are usually close by but not always easy to get to. If I can’t reach the source, I tie paracord to the metal eyelet, lower the Grayl, fill it, pull it up and press the water through filter and I’m back on the trail in minutes. When I stop for the day, I use my Grayl stove to boil water in the Ultrapress to add to my dehydrated meal then use the same system to boil water for my morning coffee. I bought a second for my wife. We don’t hit the trail without our Grayls. Age: 60s. Use: Day hikes, overnight backpacking, week long backpacking trips.

I use mine Daily
I bought my Grayl not just for out on the trail but because our city water is disgusting plus I travel a lot and run into water that is Not clean. So Daily life, job sites, camp sites off in the woods. . . I bought a sling bag to carry and it so nice to have it on me and not have to carry anything in my hands. I purchased an extra pouch I turned it into a "booboo" pouch. Great product, i will buy more from them soon. I have a have a large family.

High quality essential gear
This is a well-designed and well-executed piece of gear. It is lightweight and purifies quickly without adding off-flavors to the water. Full review at Spotterup. com

The Grayl UltraPress makes good tasting water
I finally found a water purifier that will work both for city chemicals while traveling, and in the outback while on a hike. I filled it with our chlorinated city tap water, pressed the filter through it, and voila, no swimming pool taste! I am getting up there in years but have found it doable to press the filter down through the canister; I’m willing to work a bit for clean water. My only issue is the lid color. I didn’t want the black or the “coyote” colored lids so opted for the lighter “desert tan” color which isn’t attractive, but my water bottle has a rugged, desert outback canteen look which is very slowly growing on me. I suggest that Grayl strive to offer lid colors that impart a clean-taste look. As possible, the titanium in a blue color…the color of water…. with light colored lids would be desirable. Thank you, Grayl, for making the product I was looking for!

Not as good as I hoped
I bought this thinking I would like the smaller version for backpacking and hiking and that it could replace my cooking pot to boil water while on backpacking trips. I already have the larger version but not in titanium. The smaller Ti weighs almost as much as the larger one and there is no way to measure water for freeze dried meals so I would still want my cook pot with me. I may still get some use out of it but just not the way I intended to use it. Still love GRYAL products but the Ti version should have some measuring lines INSIDE the pot.
