Frosting Snowboard sweetens all-mountain riding with hybrid C2 rocker, floaty setback stance, and icy edge grip

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Frosting feels really stable and fun across the whole resort. The C2 rocker makes it forgiving, while the camber underfoot adds confidence when picking up speed. It’s floaty on pow days, grips icy patches with Magne-Traction, and still has enough play to feel forgiving while progressing."

Who It’s For

Progressing Intermediates to Advanced All-Mountain Riders:

This board is made for riders who want a playful but confident daily driver. With its medium flex, setback stance, and versatile rocker/camber hybrid, it’s perfect for those who split time between carving groomers, riding powder, and exploring variable terrain.

What It’s For

All-Mountain Riding with Powder-Friendly Float:

The Frosting thrives on powder mornings, groomer laps, and even icy resort days. Its hybrid C2 rocker balances forgiveness and stability, while the 1-inch setback and directional shape keep it floating in deep snow.

Why We Like It

Forgiveness, Grip, and Versatility Together:

We like the Frosting because it feels approachable without sacrificing performance. The G Lite 2 core keeps it light but strong, Magne-Traction edges add grip on ice, and the sintered base stays fast. It’s a versatile snowboard built for riders who want one board to explore the whole mountain.

I was nervous about buying this board because I couldn't find many reviews. So here I am to give another perspective! The one review out there was pretty luke warm about it, but the specs seemed great, and GNU has a great reputation, so I risked it. I'm an intermediate rider moving up from my beginner lotus and this works great for me. I'm riding the 146 with Union trilogy bindings. I don't find it too stiff and it's wonderfully stable at speed and cuts through chop. It's my first time riding C2 but I did not find it at all "weird" as some have described. I do find it a little catchier at slow speeds which might be more riding improvement related. Overall I'm super happy and I think this board is going to last a long time. I'm only bummed I didn't buy last season since I liked the graphic better.
