The device offers a large, bright, and easy-to-read display, responsive navigation, and excellent Bluetooth connectivity. Users praise the comprehensive data and training features, including ClimbPro, Stamina, and hazard warnings. The battery life is also noted as more than sufficient for most rides. Garmin 1 - Wahoo 0
I was a Wahoo user, and used to love my computer. But to be honest this is in a different level! The UI is so detailed, the screen is so good, the touchscreen is so receptive. The only downhill I see is that, you need to spend a lot of time setting it up in order to get all the info you really want, since have a lot of thing. Is a very light computer, the battery is increadable, I ride several times a week, also unsing it as a base computer for my indoortrainer, and I charge it once a week. Other of the things I love is that it shows up the batery of all my sensors (Garming 1 - Wahoo 0). I will give a 4.5, only becasue the time I need to spend on the set up, but other than that, GREAT JOB GARMIN.

Performs flawlessly
The 1050 does everything it's supposed to do in a form that is easy to use and easy to see for people that use reading glasses. Even though it is a very expensive device, my position is that it is well worth the cost.

Data, data, data!
I bought the Edge 1050 after lots of research and online reading, and I could not be happier with my purchase. The amount of data you can get with this little device is incredible. I love the screen size and colors. As someone who's a little older and usually had to use readers to see things, I love the size of this display. It makes it so much easier on my eyes. I've done daytime and nighttime rides, both road and mountain bike and the 1050 does not disappoint.

Great data, terrible workout interface
I like all the functions and data available, but it doesn't integrate with Garmin workout plans at all. That's one reason I purchased the edge1050

Unbelievable head unit!
So many features the 1050 has...trying to learn to use all of them, slowly getting everything dialed in. What an amazing tool...so happy I finally bought in to Garmin !

Easy to use, touch screen is the bomb
I like this so much, I have been looking at the watches; however, I can not find a retailer with any real selection... I have written Garmin for support, yet there has been no response. I have learned that there is little to no human support. : (

Great but BIG
Pros: 1. Screen is a good size for people that want more info or eyes aren't as good as they were. 2. Touch screen is very responsive. I had held back using a touch screen before as I live in Florida and thought my abundant sweat would make them tough to use. So far I have had no issues swiping and touching over the past few summer months. 3. Very intuitive. I can find most stuff quickly without reading the manual. Cons: 1. The bezel is excessively large. In today's "no bezel" world for all displays (TVs, Computers, Phones), there is no need for such large bezels. The perfect screen for me would be just the visible screen and no bezel. 2. Weight. I am sure there was a lot of battery added to make it have the batter life it has. I am also sure many people need 20+ hours of battery, but I would much rather have a less weight along with smaller bezels. 3. There are a LOT of warnings and messages that pop up. Not sure I need that much info, and quite frankly, my vision at my age no longer allows me to see them well anyway. 4. Getting the custom short name I wanted to populate on my phone was a pain...and it did require Googling to figure it out. Not really specific to the 1050, but Garmin. In short, I would make changes to size and weight if I could, while keep the visible screen the same size. But I am keeping until such time as that happens, hopefully, in the future.
