Here's what customers have to say

The product is widely praised for its excellent quality, durability, and functionality. Many describe it as incredibly rugged and able to withstand a lot of abuse. The item features useful elements like accessible pockets, reinforced knees, and water-resistant properties. However, some users have experienced issues with the fit, finding it too slim or tight in certain areas. The sizing can also be tricky, with some needing to size up or down. A few noted the water resistance was not as effective as expected. Overall, it seems to be a high-quality, durable, and versatile option for outdoor activities, but the fit and sizing may be hit or miss.

Great quality

Great trousers. Comfy and water resistant. My only bug is no back pockets. Would definitely recommend these to anyone trekking/hiking/shooting that needs better than average trousers.

A great replacement for an old favorite

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
32, 34
Height:
5' 8"

My husband's previous favorite work pants from Fjallraven are no longer being made, so he made the switch to the Vidda Pros and have really dug them so far. He always brags to me about the pockets, and he has found them comfortable for both casual and workwear. He did find them too small when we ordered in his regular size, 32, so sized up to a 34 for a more comfortable fit.

Best all around pants in the closet

On my 2nd pair after 8 years. 6'4" need to order (Long) or 34" inseam otherwise they'll be too short

Way too tight

These are pretty cool, but they're so tight up top. All of my pants are 32s and I can barely button these. The crotch is extremely tight too, so the pockets are extremely tight. Which is all pretty bad for pants that are meant for the outdoors.

Improved fit NOT improved.

I have two pairs of these pants in the older fit from 3 years ago and LOVE them. So I picked up a new pair this year (2025) in the “improved fit”. The only thing that seems improved is Fjallraven’s bank account. There is less fabric everywhere it counts. The two biggest letdowns are 1.) the main hand pockets are noticeably shallower allowing items to fall out when sitting/laying down…and worst of all 2.) the inseam is a FULL 2 INCHES shorter than the same size in the old fit. I’m 6’4” and the old fit was fantastic in the Long inseam for us taller folks. With The “improved fit” they are now floods with the bottom of the pant leg barely reaching the instep of the shoe. That means any bending of the knee exposes the top of the shoe allowing dirt/debris into the shoe. The pants look good and have quality materials as usual, but the fit is very disappointing for the cost. I would have rather payed a few bucks more and kept the extra two inches on the inseam!!

Wonderful trousers!

I have been lusting over these for several years but could never justify the high price. Eventually I tried on a pair of these in the Boulder store. I usually wear a 34 US, but they were a bit snug so I went up to a size 36 US and immediately loved them. Needless to say I purchased them and after wearing them for around a month I liked them so much that I purchased two more pair and donated my other work trousers. Nice!

Waist size

US waist size not even close. I wear a 38/40. Ordered a 40 waist and needed at least a 44 to even get buttoned. How do you miss this mark by so much. Terrible

Great product, odd sizing

Fantastic product, I have a few pairs of Fjallraven trousers. The only issue i would raise is that with this new 'batch' is the odd sizing. The website suggests getting a size up from your normal size, which i did. They fit ok, (they don't feel as big as a 36" waste but i would like to try my 'correct' size of 34" before i buy another pair. These definitely need a belt. If i hadn't have worn them I would have tried my correct size before deciding on the correct pair.

Awesome trousers

Bought this trousers in 2022. Everyday use. Great fit and very comfortable. Pockets are awesome. Little bit sweaty at warm spring and autumn. The best trousers of Fjallraven.

Vidda Pro Pants - Sz 52

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
52

I've had a couple of Kebs but these are my favorites. I've had them out during PNW downpours and they shed water really well and I like the fit. I have 1620 single and double front, Mtn Khaki, Kuhl and Arborwear pants. I spend a lot of days out in all conditions. These are my go-to pants unless it's properly cold out. They're lighter than any of the cotton canvas pants and less restrictive. I also like that the thigh pockets all have snap closures so that what's in your pockets stays in your pockets. The new sizing scheme is cut a little smaller, so if you know what size you wear in Fjallravens, size up one. 50 was perfect for me before and 52 fits the same as the 50 did.
