Why We Like The Five Ten Sleuth Cycling Shoe
Classic tennis shoe design with mountain biking-specific features, say less. We love the Five Ten Sleuth mountain bike shoes for their premium construction, trail-oriented build, and stylish and low-profile design. Made with a durable textile upper fabric, the Sleuth is durable, breathable, and lightweight. The Sleuth features Stealth Marathon rubber to give us tons of grip on our pedals, and the dotty tread works perfectly with platform pedal pins to give us that 'locked in' feeling when we are riding. A stiffened toecap guards against rock strikes, and an EVA midsole absorbs impacts and vibrations from the trail.

Love these shoes. Nice change from my previous 5-Tens which are bulkier MTB shoe. These are just right with style, construction, and fitting. The shoes hold well on the flat pedals with no issues. The shoes are stiff enough to push off with on the pedals and hold form while riding (sitting or standing). The only downsize I have found is the foam sole is wider on the heel and I notice a few pedal strikes on my frame. Nothing serious, but a reminder to adjust my foot position.

Light, breathable, sticky sole for pedals!
Not fancy - basic with minimal padding but look sharp and really stick to the pedals. But I wear them around as well - look good with jeans. They’re light, breathe, and dry fast if they get wet. Wouldn’t want to walk a lot in them but perfect for a cafe stop on a ride.
