Tuned for power and precision with the Hiangle Climbing Shoe
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Hiangle is my go-to for gym and sport climbing—it’s aggressive enough for steep problems but comfortable enough to wear through long sessions. The rubber is insanely sticky, and the fit molds to my foot after a few uses. Great for anything from volume-heavy comp sets to micro edges outside."
When we’re jumping between boulders and vertical sport routes, the Five Ten Hiangle Climbing Shoe gives us the edge—literally. With its semi-aggressive profile and legendary Stealth® C4 rubber, the Hiangle offers precision and grip that we can trust across a variety of terrain and hold types.
The synthetic upper minimizes stretch while offering a sock-like fit, and the single hook-and-loop strap locks everything down. The balance of tension, toe power, and sensitivity makes this a true workhorse for technical routes and steep gym problems alike. Whether we’re heel-hooking, toe-scumming, or edging micro crystals, the Hiangle is always up for it.

Here's what customers have to say
The reviews for this climbing shoe are mixed. Many praise its performance, noting excellent sticky rubber, edging, and heel hooks, making it well-suited for indoor climbing and competition. Customers also appreciate the shoe's flexibility and comfort. However, the main issue is inconsistent sizing, with many reporting the shoes run small and requiring significant upsizing to achieve a proper fit. Quality concerns, such as peeling rubber, and difficulties with the exchange and return process are also mentioned. Overall, this high-performance shoe may work well for experienced climbers, but the sizing and quality control issues make it a risky purchase, especially for beginners.

Well worth the money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tight at first but gradually start to take the shape of your feet. Excellent edging grip, high confidence when placing feet on holds or against the wall. Loof pretty decent on the feet too

Great value for price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tight but comfortable, definitely go for your street shoe size, the heel is a bit hard to get in, but once you get it, it actually holds pretty well

Grippy
Comfortable for an aggressive shoe, very grippy, helps you stay stuck to the wall

Meh
They're fine, but at this price point you could find much better shoes. These have too much forefoot deadspace. The Velcro is too wide at the lower end to really tighten them down.
