Why We Like The Fischer Transalp Tour Boot
The Fischer Transalp Tour Boot takes our backcountry missions to the next level. The lightweight construction and flexible ski/walk mode make these boots a dream on the skin track, keeping our legs fresh so we can fully enjoy the descent. The Pebax Rnew shell and TPU cuff provide stability and power transmission to optimize our downhill performance, and the Power Buckle System locks our foot in place for reliable power. The rubber sole provides excellent grip on ice and rock as we make long traverses across windswept ridgelines in pursuit of our perfect line.

Well designed

These boots are really well designed for touring. They are lightweight and the closure system is easy to use. Walk mode felt smooth and unrestricted. I didn’t end up keeping them since they were too roomy for my narrow feet, so I can’t speak to how they perform while skiing.
