The La Machine 4 Ski is our go-to when the mission calls for long ascents and bottomless turns. Faction built this 117mm touring ski with a progressive shape and featherweight construction so we can push deeper into the backcountry without compromising our downhill fun. From tree runs after a storm to expansive alpine bowls, it brings a lively, catch-free feel to every line.

At the core, Paulownia wood keeps the weight impressively low while still delivering reliable strength and vibration absorption. Two full-length carbon layers sandwich the core, adding torsional rigidity for precise edge hold and stability in variable snow. Extended tip and tail rocker maximize float and make turn initiation effortless, helping us pivot smoothly even in tight terrain. With recycled and locally sourced materials reducing its footprint, the La Machine 4 blends power, play, and responsibility into one powder-hungry touring tool.
