Crankbrothers reimagines alloy wheel performance with the Synthesis XCT—designed as two purpose-built wheels that work together to elevate our ride. The front wheel prioritizes compliance and traction, giving us more confidence in turns, while the rear wheel is engineered for stiffness and tracking through fast, technical terrain. Whether we’re racing for the podium or just pushing our limits on a singletrack loop, the Synthesis XCT Alloy wheels adapt to the way we ride XC.

These wheels are purpose-tuned as a pair. The front wheel features a wider 26.5mm inner rim for supporting wider tires, increasing air volume, and rounding the tire’s profile for confident cornering. In contrast, the rear rim narrows to 24.5mm to match slimmer tires, reduce rolling resistance, and sharpen the tire’s edge for climbing traction and better power transfer. Both wheels are crafted from 6013 T6 alloy with welded and sleeved joints, and they roll on Crankbrothers’ standard hubs with 6-bolt rotor mounts and Sapim D-Light spokes. With tool-free tubeless compatibility and XC-focused strength, each wheel plays its part in making our ride faster, smoother, and more fun.
