Great bag. Full of smart ideas
Bought this for a one month, one bag trip to Thailand. Plenty of space and full of thoughtful ideas to make the most of it. I’m 6’8” and was still able to adjust this bag to my comfort. I think are a few opportunities for improvement. 1. Since this bag uses a large central compartment like a duffel bag, it would be nice to straps to hold stuff in place. I didn’t think it was a big deal when those were left off the latest allpa models, because at least those have enough pockets and zippers to organize. But it would have been useful in this design. 2. The Sling bag doesn’t lay flat and feels a bit awkward. The way the straps are attached, it feels like a Fanny pack. But this bag feels too large to wear it that way. What’s puzzling is that Cotopaxi makes separate 8L sling bags and all of those have strap points that make more sense. Overall excellent backpack.

Best bag I’ve ever had
I love this bag. It has so many pockets, features, hidden compartments. The detachable fanny is great for day trips and fits my iPad! The color is stunning too. I will be using this bag for the next 20 years

Best Pack Around
If you are a minimalist and like to travel internationally this is your pack! I took this pack across the the pedestrian in Tijuana, Mexico. I previously tried the Osprey Fairview on the same trip but the metal frame was extremely uncomfortable. I tried the smaller version this back and found it much more comfortable. This pack does shine when it's used with packing cubes. Not only does it make travel easier but it makes everything easier to find. The zip off top pack made things much easier as it was one less thing to lose as it was attached to the pack. I took it everywhere with me and left the larger pack at home. The built in zipper and pockets made things easier when finding things like my sunglasses, passport, meds, sunscreen, etc. The pocket with the water was a match made in heaven as it was hot and allowed me to carry water and refill when I was able to. On the way back I was still able to pack additional food items that I purchase on to the pack. This is where the hip belt shined and helped transfer the weight off of my back onto my hips. Loved it so much that I am planning on replacing my husband's pack with this one once it gives up the ghost. Overall money well spent!

I have a trip to Australia and New Zealand coming up and I needed a decent pack for it. This is so perfect, the quality is unmatched and I love the pockets!

Incredible
I’m 6’6”, and i bought the 50L backpack which is just perfect for my frequent trips from the USA to SE Asia where I stay for several weeks. I hate checking bags because of the waiting times at airports, so this backpack allows me to carry on everything I take with me!

Solid, versatile, and perfect for overseas trip
We have a 42L Allpa and added this up for an upcoming travel overseas. Allpa 50L Adventure pack is the only option that separates the head from the main pack so that can be a carry on. It's more structured and stable to stand up alone than 42L. Also the initial bag I received had a crooked corner on the back padding but had no issue to return and replace into a new one. Recommend!

Love my bag!
I've been eyeing this bag for a while and was ecstatic when I received it as a gift. As shown in the videos, it has various pockets that offer a lot of utility, the bag is easy to carry, and very versatile - especially with the hip pack coming off. I recommend it to those that are looking for a carry-on side pack.

Love it!!
The Gold color is so nice. I read reviews before saying it wasn't as nice as the online picture; it is gorgeous! The materials are soft and made well. The size is perfect and all the compartments. I cant wait to take it to Italy! Very satisfied. Rebekah

Excellent new carry-on bag!
So happy to find the 50L Allpa bag. It will be so useful for traveling, especially with the detachable sling bag at the top. It holds a lot of stuff, especially when I use my Cotopaxi packing cubes! Looking forward to taking on many adventures!
