Defective Tires

My 120lbs son uses Conti Race Kings for XC training and racing. We have now had 4 tires fail in less 1-year with limited use. Often just a few races. Something internally in the tire fails resulting in a large wobble. Our shop with competent have looked at the situation and agree the tires are defective. In fact they sold us 2 of the tires that failed and gave us a return no questions asked. Clearly Conti has a problem and needs to address it.

Great all around gravel tire

The Conti Race Kings come in a few different flavors. These are a great price and most of the performance of the "protection" version, although the vlack chili compound is know to be a little faster rolling. Overall very happy with these tires both on road and off.

Tires for bikes are quite expensive right now and some times you have to search for the best posible value, this is the case with these Continental RaceKing. The tires are awesome, nice compound, great thread for the road and also the trails. Very nice looking (looks great on the bike). The only drawback is, if you are mounting the tires to use it tubeless, mine took the use of the air compressor to get it seated on the rims, other tires I used before I only used a floor pump, this is not the case with these ones, so be aware of that before hand. I used it on road and trails and the feeling of the bike is awesome, very fast tire in both terrains.
