Kryptotal-F 29in Tire delivers precise cornering and grip up front for aggressive trail and enduro riding
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I mounted this up front and instantly noticed how confidently it corners—tons of grip in loose over hard and the braking feels really stable. It’s become my go-to front tire for techy rides and shuttle days."
When we need our front tire to hold a line no matter the conditions, the Continental Kryptotal-F 29in Tire steps up with versatile grip and dependable control. Designed specifically for front-wheel duties, this tire balances aggressive cornering traction with straight-line speed—perfect for enduro stages, technical descents, and demanding trail days.
The Kryptotal-F uses Continental’s Gravity casing for reinforced sidewall durability and added puncture protection on rocky terrain. Paired with a soft or super soft compound (depending on spec), the tread layout features widely spaced, directional knobs optimized for braking and cornering bite. It’s built to hook up in loose conditions without sacrificing rolling efficiency, making it a favorite for mixed terrain and steep lines alike.

- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I used to vary between DHF and assegai depending on the bike, but I run these on all the bikes now. The trail casing is at least as tough as exo+ and these provide amazing cornering traction. The durability is amazing. I’m on my third rear tire on my primary trail bike and this front is still holding up great.

Good Downhill Traction
Good traction in downhill corners. When mounting the tire to the rim, challenging to get the bead to seal to the rim.
