Wrong kind of Softshell?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this to replace a neoprene type softshell jacket. I assumed that this would be the same type of jacket, as it was also called a softshell. I absolutely loce this jacket. It fits teue to size, however... it wasn't what i thought I'd be getting, so I was very disappointed.
