Good Fit and Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight. Can be easily packed. Convertible feature will be useful in hot weather. Plenty of secure pockets. Would recommend. Thank you.

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 3 pairs of these. I know, seems excessive. I was slightly over weight at the time at 34/32 rather than my usual 32/33. So 2 pairs of the sand colored (1 pair at each size) and one pair of gray at 32/32. The rear seat pockets on the 34/32 quickly started to unravel3 months after I bought them. I was losing weight (happily), so I started wearing the smaller sizes. At that point, the pockets on the gray pair started to unravel too. I sent the sand colored 34/32 pair back to Columbia who promptly returned them without fixing them saying they needed a receipt! Who keeps a receipt for that long. And it is not as if they don't say 'Columbia' all over them. All left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Probably won't buy Columbia again.

Great Hiking pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted some zip off pants to use for hiking and these are amazing. They dry so quick and didn’t tear or scratch after a long hike through thick brush.

Very poor stitching
I wore these pants 6-8 times and noted that the stitching for the pockets and the crotch had separated. No longer able to place items in both rear pockets. Very poor continuous stitching in what is billed as a durable outdoor item of clothing.

Best pants - even for women!
These are the best pants ever!! As a woman, I originally tried on the two versions of the women's convertible pants, but they are completely inferior. Besides the difference in fit, the men's pant comes with a belt (this adjusting buckle type of belt is the best and stays put even when hiking) and the women's does not. Additionally, this pant has pockets on both thighs and two in the back, and the women's has half that and are much less useful. I love the variety in pocket types in this pant (open vs zip vs velco flap), great for storing my dirty bits and paper map and fire starter all separately. Super lightweight, so wearing the full pant never seems like overkill. I have five pairs of this pant now, with plans to buy more! The most versatile pant, perfect for any trip!

Great pants for summer use, light weight, convert
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pants for summer use, light weight and cool. Great boat pants, dry quickly and convert to shorts and they last for ever, almost.

SR Utility pants are baggy with smaller zip pocket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Silver Ridge "Utility" convertible pants, after years of wearing the original Silver Ridge convertibles pretty much all the time. I found them baggy in the seat and legs, with a zipper packet that is too small to fit my average sized smart phone in, and made from less comfortable material than the originals. I don't know what extra "utility" they are supposed to have, but they're not for me. I returned them unused.

My first pair of hiking pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfy pair of hiking pants. Fit perfect with the belt and they were lose enough to hike comfortably. I appreciated all the pockets, they came in handy on my hike. The pants also kept me warm on a windy day. Made me feel like a true hiker 😊 I'm a woman by the way and loved this pair of pants.

No longer streamlined, now baggy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several pair of these pants and for some reason this new pair is cut much larger, even though they're the same size and model. Therefore, I had to return them.
