Fantastic Rain jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “I bought the Columbia Women’s Arcadia II Jacket in Womens large and it’s been fantastic. It’s very lightweight — I can easily stuff it into my day-pack or even the jacket’s own hand pocket when the sun comes out. Rainstorms? No problem — the Omni-Tech waterproofing kept me dry on a couple of commute-downpours here in Jacksonville, Florida. The adjustable hood and hem let me dial in the fit so wind and rain stay out. If anything, the only downside is that in very heavy exertion (like a fast hike under downpour) the breathability isn’t best-in-class, but for regular wet-weather use this is a great jacket.”

Weak zipper
The jacket is fine except for the zipper being small and hard to connect at the bottom.

Velcro snags my sweaters, scarfs.
Bought this a year ago.. while it does it job with the rain, the velcro patches by the zipper, snags my sweater or scarf every time. Bummed about that. Wish I could just remove them.

Stayed dry
I bought this jacket for my trip to Wales. It rained every day but I stayed dry - this jacket sounds a little ‘crunchy’ when you get it but it was not when you wear it - it withstood the heavy rains & I remained dry!! The only problem was that the Velcro gave out on the left sleeve so I couldn’t tighten it but I will sew it closed. I would still recommend! I bought 2 sizes bigger to accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt although it was warm enough with just the Columbia PFG Tidal long sleeve shirt in 50 degree rainy weather!
