Stay cool and protected with the Alpine Chill Pro Short-Sleeve Crew

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve worn the Alpine Chill Pro Crew on long desert hikes and muggy trail runs, and it never fails to impress. The Omni-Freeze™ tech actually cools you down when you start to sweat, while the UPF 50 keeps the sun from cooking your shoulders. It’s one of those shirts I end up living in all summer."

When temps soar, we reach for the Columbia Alpine Chill Pro Short-Sleeve Crew to keep cool, dry, and protected from the sun. Crafted with Columbia’s sweat-activated Omni-Freeze™ Zero technology, this shirt works harder the more we do—absorbing moisture and triggering a cooling effect that feels like built-in AC.

Omni-Wick™ fabric efficiently pulls sweat to the surface for rapid evaporation, and the Omni-Shade™ UPF 50 rating keeps harmful rays at bay during long days outside. Lightweight polyester feels soft against the skin and resists odor, while the drop-tail hem adds extra coverage when we’re on the move. From blazing ridgelines to sunny riverbanks, this tee keeps the adventure going no matter the heat.

Disappointing pivot towards "Active Fit".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Columbia Omni-Freeze and Omni-Shade shirts. Every summer I buy a few of the latest style/version and basically just wear them every day. Can't really wear anything else during the hot summer months. But this year, the line of Omni-Freeze shirts are "Active Fit". Not really sure why that's needed. The fabric is significantly less stretchy (which was nice to have in the summer months) and the head hole is practically rigid. I can barely get my head inside the shirts. Just...disappointing.

Quality no good.

Quality and durability is not there with this shirt. Wore it once and it was already wearing out and pilling. This shirt will not last long, can’t recommend.

Quality and Durability not there.

Quality and durability are awful on this shirt. Cannot recommend. After wearing the shirt one time, it already began to wear in spots and pilling.
