Here's what customers have to say
The tent is spacious and easy to set up, with a screen room for relaxation. Customers report it holds up well to weather, though some note ventilation issues when the rain fly is on and minor design flaws in the screen room. Overall, the tent appears to be a good value for family camping.

Poles were not pre attached
Preattached poles were not pre attached. And the directions were horrible to try and figure out. I dont know if those poles are supposed to stay where they are, how it goes away, etc. It took WAY more than 5 mins to assemble those massive long pokes and figure out which clips tgey go in.

Ok - good value, but not perfect
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 6-person
This is, by all accounts, a perfectly suitable family car camping tent. It was spacious (granted we got a 6-person for our family of 4), and not hard to set up. At this price point (we got it on sale) it is hard to imagine a better option. However, it seemed like the sides were not taut when setup so wind could blow the walls in more than on our other tent. My biggest gripe is that there is almost not way to fold this tent down back into its case. There was a peculiar design decision to have some of the poles permanently attached to the tent. I would much prefer to have them fully detach to make folding it up easier.

Poor Quality
The only thing I like about this tent is the ease of setup. The quality is seriously lacking, there are numerous areas light comes thru the darkroom rain via holes from manufacturing which leads me to believe it also definitely won’t keep any moisture out and when tied down the cover fits so loosely that it flaps in the wind. This tent would not hold up to any sort of adverse weather and I would not recommend even at its discounted price. Doubt it will last more than a season, waste of money, highly disappointed.

Upgrade of the Evanston style tent
It was easy to set up. No guessing where the poles go and no more running the poles through sleeves. Defiantly love the new panels on the front porch area. Looking forward to using it in some more wetter weather.

Cold wind invasion. Is this tent only for summer?
I could not sleep well because it was so cold inside at night with 50°F outside. Cold wind came inside from the gap between the tent's bottom part and the rainfly. If the end of the rainfly reached the ground, the gap might not have been big, keeping me from the cold wind invasion. But as you can see, the Coleman logo-printed rainfly part does not meet the ground. Was I wrong in setting up the tent? Everything I was fully satisfied. However, I did not experience the benefits of the Darkroom function because I could not sleep long due to the cold.

Perfect if you camp with young kids!
We haven't been able to use it since it is still not camping season at PNW. But we had the same tent, only 4P instead of 6P, and we absolutely loved it. Everyone slept much better! We just upgraded to be more comfortable and have more room for our family of 3.

Great for not so great weather
We tested out the tent this past weekend. Weather was rain and cold for 3 days straight. This tent withstood the rain and hail and kept us dry. Set up and tear down was easy. Great space inside with lots of head room. Being that it rained so much we used the front screen room for a wet room which worked out well being able to take off boots and coats keeping the sleeping area dry.

Super easy to put up!
Use it for the first time this weekend. It was so easy and I loved it. The only thing I wish it had was some thing like a stake at the front center of the screen so when you pulled the zipper up something was there to hold down the floor. I also wish there was some sort of a hook on the interior center of the tent to hold a very light lantern like my old tent did when I was a kid. Not sure yet how I feel about the whole back window being screen only and you’re not able to cover it up.
