SOS Ski brings confident edge hold, playful float, and versatility for a true one-ski quiver

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The SOS is the ski I grab when I don’t know what the conditions will be. It’s stable enough to rail groomers, quick through bumps and trees, and wide enough to float when it dumps. The birch wood core makes it feel damp without being heavy, and it’s been super durable season after season. If I had to ski one setup every day, this would be it."

Who It’s For

Confident All-Mountain Skiers Seeking One-Ski Quiver:

This ski is designed for women who want reliable performance across all conditions—groomers, powder, crud, and trees. It’s ideal for skiers who want stability and edge hold on firm snow without giving up float or forgiveness in softer conditions.

What It’s For

All-Mountain Versatility from Powder to Hardpack:

With waist widths that scale by length, the SOS balances edge-to-edge quickness for carving with enough surface area to plane through powder. Rocker in the tip and tail keeps it maneuverable and floaty, while camber underfoot ensures dependable grip.

Why We Like It

Stable, Smooth, and Dependable:

We like how the FSC-certified birch core provides a damp, energetic ride while slanted ABS sidewalls add torsional stiffness for precise turns. The twin tail makes it playful and versatile, while the sintered base offers lasting speed. It’s a ski built to truly handle it all.

Ski coaching all week requires a ski that does well in all conditions and can take triple digit days on snow! They crush bumps, jumps, drops and can lay an awesome carve. They're stable without being heavy and I feel secure in any terrain. If you are looking for one ski to do it all look no further than the SOS!

I love these skis, and they’ve made me a better skier. I feel confident on them no matter where I am on the mountain or what the conditions are, be it ice in Maine, powder in Japan, or bell to bell in Colorado. They’re float on powder and crush through all the afternoon slush like it’s nothing. You can pick up some serious speed on these skis, and oh wow is it fun. If I could only ski one ski for the rest of my life, it would be these. They’re going to show you a good time every day.

I got on my first pair of SOS skis back in 2017 and haven't looked back! Since then, I've been on 3 different models of the SOS and it is literally the one ski quiver. I use it to ski park, pow, crud, groomers, you name it! I've never loved a ski more, it does great at high speeds, cutting through crud, and floating through pow! At 101mm underfoot it's a great ski for someone looking for the one ski that does it all. I mounted it with the look pivot at the recommended mounting point and think it's the perfect setup!
