Drift Short delivers lightweight comfort and stretch for trail rides and casual spins

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I love these shorts for warm-weather trail rides—super light, comfy, and the built-in liner has just enough cushion without feeling bulky. They’re my go-to for quick pedals and long days alike."

When the temps rise and the trails are calling, the Club Ride Apparel Drift Short keeps us riding cool and free. Built for lightweight comfort, these shorts offer an athletic fit and stretchy fabric that moves with us whether we're grinding up switchbacks or cruising into town after a lap.

Club Ride nails the details with a removable, lightly padded liner that gives just the right amount of cushion in the saddle. The waistband features inner adjustment and a yoga-style stretch panel for a dialed-in fit without pinching. With a versatile 5-inch inseam, quick-drying material, and subtle trail style, these shorts easily transition from singletrack to post-ride hangs.

Slim fit is code for hardly any padding

IF these shorts had burlier padding, they'd be great. The fit is fine. Good breathability. I just am NOT going to pick these for a ride longer than 1-2 hours.

Padding in weird place

The padding is off. It’s very far forward and the back ones feel like they are separating my buttcheeks and riding up into my crack. It feels uncomfortable when not riding the bike

perfect liner shorts

i mtn bike about twice a week for 2-3 hours. my butt was getting sore because all my very old chamois had no padding left. My butt is happy again; these offer ample padding. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice, thin, stretchy, comfortable material of the main shorts; way nicer than the standard thicker Lycra. And they are opaque so can be worn without overshorts if needed.

I love love love the montcham shorts but my size was sold out so I got the drift shorts too. As the other review mentioned they are a ?2hr? short but I?ve worn them for longer rides and I do notice a little discomfort over the montcham shorts but only slightly. The drift shorts are pretty darn comfy and the price is superb. Breathable, good cut, doesn?t roll up and they are comfy. The waistband is comfy too. Good buy.
