Goodbye, Chaco.
I recently purchased a new pair of Z/1s, and they are 1/4" too short compared with my older Z/1s. I've been a customer, furthermore a raving fan, for 21+ years, but now the product now longer fits. I purchased the next size up (size 12) to see if they would work, but they are too long for my foot plus the heel leash is too loose. I called for support, but half sizes are not possible and heel leash adjustments are only possible through the custom shop (higher cost vs. stock items plus additional lead times). As an engineer, I'm utterly baffled why such a change would be made that alienates existing customers. It's always easier and less costly to keep an existing customer than to find a new one. So sad to post this since I even have the "Chaco Professional" sticker to prove my brand love that started so long ago.

One of the best outdoor sandals.
I’ve absolutely loved my Chaco’s so far. I initially purchased them for a trip. They have easily become my favorite sandal and I have been wearing them everyday. As someone who comes from using previous outdoor sandals, these ones are just clearly superior. From the way they hold your foot in place, to their rugged and durable traction, they will be exactly what you want if you’re looking for an outdoor sandal! Another thing I really appreciate about these shoes is how quickly they dry after using them for water related activities. Cant recommend them enough!

My 22 year old Chaos finally gave out
So I went online and ordered another pair of Z1's. They are much lighter and it's nice to be able to easily adjust the straps again. The one down side is that I will have to send this pair back to Chaco to have the straps shortened a little. It seems I run out of buckle strap before I the straps are fully adjusted.

Another great Chaco style!
My husband loves these! They were a gift for his birthday. We're big Chaco fans and this style and pattern doesn't disappoint. Comfy out of the box, great summery colors, and of course - durable sandals!

Good but not perfect.
It is a good product. I am going to keep it and use it plenty. But it was not as comfortable as I was expecting. The material sticks to my feet and the strap is a little too long so I step on it. But it is still a quality sandal that I am happy with.
