I am thrilled with the flattering fit, the Beautiful dark sea blue color, and the soft lightweight corduroy fabric. I bought them on final sale , half off, and hope they keep the same fit and fabric, so can order again next year in another gorgeous color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally tried Carson pants. They are made for a more curvaceous body than mine. I am 5’7”, 158# with a thicker waist and narrow hips, more straight than curvy. I normally wear a size 8 or 10 in pants. The size 10 I bought is snug in the waist and loose in the hips. The length is fine. The fabric feels good and color is great. I wish they were right for me. Even though they were final sale and not returnable, I will give them to a more curvy person.

I’m a size 8 in the Carson Hi Rise jeans, but these pants seem to be made smaller at the waist and are stiff with no flexibility so I had to size up and get a size 10. The size-up fits well at the waist and is baggy down the legs. They are a thin material and lightweight which is perfect for hot weather! They make a “swish swish” noise when walking which is a little annoying. Otherwise I like them so far.

I love these light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these light weight cords. This is the 3rd pair I bought, 2nd pair of the Hi Rise. I like the hi rise better than the mid-rise but I wear all 3 of them regularly. Because they are so light weight, they are great pants for fall, winter and spring.

Thinner than I was expecting for cords, but I love the weight and fit of the pants.

Two notes: 1) runs small—I am a six in the Carson jeans and easily an 8 in these 2) the color is (sadly) much more of a Kelly green than the rich/deep green-brown it looks on the website.

I have the Carson cords in the regular/mid-rise and thought the hi-rise would be similar. I knew to size up, but was shocked to have to return and size up TWICE! The waist is soooo small.... I could have sized up three times in truth. I just couldn't bring myself to do that mentally/emotionally! That said, the sizing up then leaves the seat baggy and awkward. I know this is not a Backcountry issue, but would love for Carve Designs to offer a curvy fit and a straight fit option on these. I kept my 2nd pair (up 2 sizes from norm). I Love the brown color, and will be able to wear them with longer sweaters/tops. I like that they are thinner than other cords (others note this as an "issue" but again, I have another pair of the midrise so knew this to be so) It allows me to be comfortable indoors, plus they are softer and less bulky than a heavyweight cord.

Love my Carson Hi Rise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Carson Hi Rise jeans in size 4. Not too tight , great feel. The cords in size 4 were too tight but only in the waist. Ordered size 6 and way too big. Sigh! Great looking cords though.

The material seems thinner than

The material seems thinner than my other Carson cords, I have 6 pairs. Color is great. I returned these for another pair of midrise because the waist was too small. 65 years old and have straight shape. 5’5”, 143 lbs, 32 in inseam. I keep them rolled up a bit because I have long legs and they aren’t long enough otherwise.
