Why We Like The CAPiTA Jess Kimura Mini Snowboard

The Jess Kimura Mini is the ultimate board for young shredders who are ready to hit the park and hone their freestyle skills. Designed to bridge the gap between the Micro Mini and full-size women’s boards, this board brings all the technology we’ve come to expect from CAPiTA in a scaled-down version that’s perfect for progression. With its True Twin shape and Radial sidecut, it provides smooth, balanced control for riding switch and carving around the resort.

What really sets the Jess Kimura Mini apart is its playful, soft flex combined with a slight reverse camber, making it forgiving enough for learning new tricks, while still snappy enough for jumps and jibs. The Select 2.0 Core™ keeps things lightweight without sacrificing durability, and the XXX[TRUDED]™ base is built to be fast yet easy to maintain—ideal for young riders pushing their limits. Produced with sustainable woodcores at The MotherShip™ using clean energy, this board is packed with eco-friendly features at a price parents can feel good about.

Great board

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
120

My daughter is a more advanced rider for her age and wanted a more progressive board. Tough to find in smaller sizes. Good things come in small packages! This is the second danger pony board she’s had, she loved it so much we sized up this year. She flies, hits kickers, rides switch, small park features, soft enough to still do some butters but stable even at high speeds and jumps. The graphic doesn’t hurt, either. She gets loads of compliments on her board. Very happy with purchase. Love that this board also comes in half sizes, she rode the 115 last two years (7/8 yo) and 120 this (9 yo)
