NOT wide, not even a little bit

The description says "Wide fit accommodates higher volume feet". Uh, no, that is absolutely untrue. Ordered my normal shoe size, could barely get my foot in it, and it was too painful to stand. Went up a full size, and even though the length was OK, it's still very narrow and crushes my metatarsals together quite painfully. I've heard these will stretch, but I can't endure a painful break-in period and hope they get better. These are not for wide feet so please stop saying that in the description. And having to pay to return them TWICE now has more than negated any savings from the % off list price.
