It fits and was easy to install!
I inherited an old Burley trailer and was unsure if I would be able to find parts that worked with my newer mountain bike, but this hitch and the flex connector did the trick! It was easy to install and very easy to hook on the trailer. The parts are a tad expensive for what they are, but I'm sure they'll last for decades.

Attaches fine to a bike with drum brakes
Attaches fine to my old bike with drum brakes. We got an extra one for my partner's bike so we can switch off amd share the responsibility of pulling the wagon. He has easy-release wheels so attaching the hitch was a non-event.

Excellent Steel Hitch & System
Great fit and finish for this steel hitch. We bought one for each of our bikes, including one with disk brakes which required an adapter that was mentioned in the online descriptions at time of purchase. Burley thinks through system details like these to ensure a great customer experience. Thank you Team Burley!

If I already have the safety strap with retaining pin then I can purchase the steel hitch component and thats all I need? Im confused about if I need another piece to complete the connection. Do I need a flex connector?
