Pretty disappointing update to the hyperion max's. The 2s were my favorite shoes Brooks has ever made. Definitely see the vision but the cushion and upper were complete misses from me. Did 3 tempo runs and am returning them. Feet hurt, the energy return from the base was there but felt squirrely and put a lot of stress on my lower legs. For sure would get hurt if I continued to use them.

Best in class!
The reviews don’t give this shoe enough credit. Love it! Perfect balance of cushioning and stability. Highly recommend. Works well for flat feet also.

Best shoes ever made!
I got these for my husband. He is a PE Teacher and a runner. He goes through lots of shoes, and these are the most comfortable pair of shoes he has ever owned! They fit true to size. The upper feels great, snug but not tight. There is plenty of room in the toe box. The ride is very cushioned but you can also turn up the speed and go at a nice quick pace. Outstanding shoes! 10 out of 10

I tried these on and walked in the house for a minute. They are not true to size. I ordered a 13 and they were so tight they hurt. I returned them.

Great shoe
Great shoe. Able to handle easy runs, recovery runs as well as pick up the pace in them. They are a little more stiff than I wanted, but still a very good shoe. Fit was true to size. Would recommend to runners of all levels.

Hyperion Max 3 Review
Did my first run in these today in light rain. It was faster paced threshold run zone 4. Shoes worked out great and highly recommend them. These shoes felt comfortable at speed and fit very well. I would say traction is good and a great shoe for interval training and higher paced runs at least for me. They feel awkward at slower pace or just starting out the run working up. For my slower paced recovery and distance runs I will use the Glycerin 22s. For my 5k/10k shoes the Hyperion Elite 5. Overall great to have in a rotation for what your training for.

Hyperion Max 3 my favorite new runningshoe
As a very heavy beginning runner I absolutely love the Hyperion Max 3. They fit true to size for me, and I loved the snug sock-like fit that gave such a great heel lockdown for me. They felt stable, protective, and well cushioned without feeling too mushy at slow paces. At faster paces the nylon plate and rocker really made it come alive. I'm a VERY slow runner but first time I ran in these I broke every PB within my 4.5 mile run. Only negative thing I can say is that although I really liked the laces, I wish they were longer to accommodate the higher volume of my feet. One last thing, maybe it's because I'm heavier runner but they did not feel heavy to me as I've heard and read in many reviews, they felt just perfect.

Ehh, prefer the Max 2
I have the Hyperion Max 1 and 2 and these were a big disappointment. I loved the firmness of #1 and the responsiveness and upper from #2. These Hyperion Max 3 totally missed the mark. They are way too cushiony, if that is a word, which causes knee pain from the instability. The upper isn't as good as #2. Please go back to the Hyperion max 2 formula. Amazing upper and a firmer bottom.

No medial support
Have loved all the other Hyperion models but these missed the mark. They have no medial support which really put a lot of pressure on your first MTP. The cushion and stack height is just too much, I constantly feel like I’m going to sprain my ankle when running in them.

Great sole with rolling impact provides excellent cushioning and still stable will need second pair
