Customer Images

Here's what customers have to say

The Ghost 2 shoes are generally well-received, with many customers praising their comfort and cushioning. The shoes are described as comfortable for all-day wear, providing excellent support and stability, especially for those with foot or joint issues. However, some customers were disappointed with changes to the design, feeling the fit was not as roomy or comfortable as the previous model. A few also found the shoes to be less cushioned than expected, and some noted they run small. Overall, the shoes appear well-suited for walking, light running, and everyday wear, though they may not meet the high standards of the previous model for some customers.

Great shoe for walking

Purchased 8.5 and wear an 8.5 and they were perfect fit! They feel so comfortable not only walking but wearing them all day for errands.

Design flaw with sole causes instability

I bought these shoes for stability and comfort everyday wear. I kept noticing that the oversized ole extending beyond the foot bed was catching on things. Yesterday they caught on a deck board and caused a serious fall. No broken bones but lots of bruising, sprains, and pain resulted. I am throwing them away before it happens again. Poor design for stability.

Not comfortable

Bought these due to the rave reviews. Good looking shoes, but no match for the Hoka Bondi 8, which are so much more comfortable, to me.

Great Improvement!

The Ghost Max 2 has a more comfortable ride than its predecessor. Now, I’m excited to go out for runs and train for my upcoming 1/2 marathon. After purchasing my first pair and going for a run, I immediately ordered a backup pair. Thanks for continuing to improve, Brooks!

Feet Feeling Good

These shoes feel great. The wider toe box allows my foot better mobility and for push-off with my big toe.

Brooks keeps asking me for reviews. I have said the same thing each time, the quality has gone downhill. Not getting much use out of any shoe longer than a few months. These have been the more comfortable ones that I have kept.

Comfortable for walking

I don't run, I walk. I really like the cushioning and support in these. I have flat feet, spinal stenosis and need wides and these really fit the bill.

Wanted to love them. Couldn't do it.

I want to love it, but I can't. I was really hoping these would be the "ones". I already go a half-size up with Brooks, but the toe box on these is so cramped that I dread wearing them. I'm so disappointed. I'm on my feet all day, and since wearing these I've been experiencing leg cramping at night that I know is from the shoes. When I switch to my Adrenalines, Ghost 15s, Glycerins or Hyperions I'm not experiencing the cramping. I have at least 13 pairs of Brooks in my rotation. I'm not a runner, but I walk all day on concrete floors, so I can't tell you my experience other than this.

I like/love!

I should of ordered a half size bigger but that wasn't an option. I love the cushion feel of taking steps. Better arches would be a plus.
