good poles… wish there were replacement parts

I love these poles, but I wish there were replacement parts when things broke or bent on the bottom sections of the polls.

Purchased these for a through

Purchased these for a through hike in Colorado, they worked flawlessly. The cork style grip and the comfy lanyard were nice to feel, and the poles do have some nice compression in them to absorb some of the impact. Great quality

Replacing my Trailshocks

I had my former pair of poles for some 1000 miles. the material finally gave out. The Pursuit poles have seamlessly moved into my gear. They have taken any and all situations beautifully. I enjoy the upgraded aluminum. It's lighter and stronger. Looking forward to many years of service.

I’ve used these on the John Muir Trail and Mt Whitney so they’ve definitely been battle tested. Light weight, nice flip lock system. Easy to replace the tips and baskets. My only beef is that the straps that support your wrists wears out and degrades fairly quickly.

shock vs. not

I used my husband's super light BD trekking poles, but when it came to getting my own, I choose the shock absorbing version. Trekking poles are a great way to warm up my arms on the way to crag, which is usually uphill. On the way home, I can really lean on these shock absorbing poles to save my knees and feel more confident that I am not going to biff with a heavy pack!

Well made

Well made poles. I turned 60 this year and have been going on some trips with my daughter. We plan another to So. Dakota next week. These poles will make my hikes more stable with unlevel ruff terrain.
